4. Standardized-test Grammar Course Description: This course aims to prepare students to face Test of English as a Foreign Language such as TOEFL and IELTS which focus on the grammar aspect. Students will learn strategies to answer the questions. Learning Outcome: Students are able to answer TOEFL test for structure and writing expression section appropriately.

5. Why Is Grammar Important in Standardized Tests? Effective Communication : Grammar helps deliver clear and accurate messages. Holistic Assessment : These exams assess comprehensive language skills, including grammar, to measure how well someone understands and uses English naturally. Impact on Scores : Grammar errors can lower scores, especially in writing and speaking sections

7. 120 points maximum iBT ITP 310 to 677 Score 310 to 677 PBT Types of TOEFL TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test) This is the most common and widely accepted version of the TOEFL test. It is taken online and measures skills in reading, listening, speaking, and writing . The TOEFL iBT is used for academic purposes and is recognized by universities and institutions around the world. TOEFL PBT (Paper-Based Test) This is a traditional version of the test taken on paper, typically in areas where internet access is limited. The test evaluates listening, reading, and writing skills (it does not include a speaking section). TOEFL PBT is gradually being phased out and is less common today. TOEFL ITP (Institutional Testing Program) This version is mainly used by institutions (such as schools and universities) to assess students' language proficiency for internal purposes. TOEFL ITP is not used for admissions by universities abroad; it is more for diagnostic or placement purposes. It is usually administered in paper-based format and tests listening, grammar, and reading comprehension .
