If the subject is singular, the verb should be singular too, and the same goes for plural.

27. W hat about vague definitions? Why should we avoid them? Vague definitions can confuse people because they don’t provide enough specific information. It’s better to be clear and precise. Why should we avoid repeating words or redundancy in our definitions? Repeating words can make our definitions longer and less clear. It’s better to be concise and to the point.
