Guidelines Where there is discrepancy between birth certificate and aadhar , there Aadhar to be corrected as per birth certificate. Awareness among Parents to be created that birth certificate is the most essential document for a child. So if they don't have it, they should apply for the same as soon as possible. If there is delay to get the birth certificate it should be brought to the next hierarchical officers, so that the BEO can communicate to DEO cum DPCs who will move a file to Collector to direct the CDMOs to issue the birth certificate as early as possible. For Higher Secondary schools BEOs must call meeting with principals under chairmanship of Sub collectors to get the APAAR ID created, as there won't be any issue relating to birth certificate. The Matriculation certificate would be sufficient to create APAAR ID. Block wise status is shown in the slide – “District wise Total APAAR progress (Student)” – BEOs to follow up
