ORDER
1.An ex-cadre post of Director, Coir Development Department is created
for a period of one year in the Junior Administrative Grade of IAS in Level
12 in the Pay Matrix Table (Pay Range ₹78,800 - 2,09,200/-). The post of
Director, Coir Development Department is declared equivalent in status and
responsibility to the cadre post of Additional Secretary to Government in the
Junior Administrative Grade of IAS under Rule12 of IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016.
2 .An ex-cadre post of Director of State Lotteries is created for a period of
one year in the Senior Time Scale of IAS in Level 11 in the Pay Matrix
Table (Pay Range ₹67,700 - 2,08,700/-). The post of Director of State
Lotteries is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the cadre post
of Deputy Secretary to Government in the Senior Time Scale of IAS under
Rule12 of IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016.

4. The name of the post of 'Deputy Project Director, Kerala Climate
Resilient Agri-Value Chain Modernization Project (KERA)'
mentioned in para III (10) of the Government Order read as 2

paper above is corrected and read as 'Additional Project Director,
Kerala Climate Resilient Agri-Value Chain Modernization Project

5. Shri. John V Samuel IAS (KL 2015), District Collector, Kottayam,
who is under orders of transfer as Director, State Water Transport
Department, is transferred and posted as Director, Coir
Development Department against the ex-cadre post created vide
para I(1) above.
6. Shri. Shaji V Nair IAS (KL 2018), Chief Executive Officer,
Cochin Smart Mission Ltd. will continue to hold the full
additional charge of the post of Director, State Water Transport
Department.
7. Shri. Suraj Shaji IAS (KL 2019), Director of Urban Affairs will
hold the full additional charge of Mission Director, AMRUT.
8. Smt. Meera K IAS (KL 2021), Sub Collector, Fort Kochi, who is
under orders of transfer as Director, Survey and Land Records

cadre post created vide para I(2) above. The officer will hold the
full additional charges of Director, Scheduled Tribes Development
Department; Special Officer, Tribal Resettlement and
Development Mission and Chief, Tribal Resettlement and
Development Mission on relieving of Dr. Renu Raj IAS (KL
2015) on study leave.
10. The service of Shri. Jayakrishnan V M IAS (KL 2021), Sub
Collector, Devikulam is placed at the disposal of Food and Civil
Supplies Department for being appointed as General Manager,
Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited till Dr. Aswathy
Srinivas IAS relieves from the post of Managing Director, Kerala
State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited. The post of General
Manager, Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited is
declared equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post
of Deputy Secretary to Government in the Senior Time Scale of
IAS in Level 11 in the Pay Matrix Table (Pay Range ₹67,700 -
2,08,700/-) as per Rule 12 of IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016. The
deputation will be governed by the terms and conditions
