As the incidents recorded in the anecdotal record happens to be the important events in the student's life, any exaggerated description may lead to misunderstand the student. Information recorded in the anecdotal record will be useful, only if they are accurate and comprehensive. If the described behavior is isolated from the social background in which it happened, its real nature cannot become clear.
