This quiz was conducted at College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, as part of an informal session. Majority of the questions are sourced from the commentary during the matches, and newspapers during the course of the world cup.

1) According to statistics, of the 7,829 players to have played at the World Cup, X, Jose and Luis have been the top three names to feature. And out of the three, X is the most frequent (72), followed by Jose (59) and Luis (56). Y – is the city that has produced the most number of World Cup players (95). Mexico City is second with 72 players. Buenos Aires (66) and Rio de Janeiro (63) X and Y, please.
