2. What is Learning Package?   It refers t o teaching and learning materials. To ensure that students are fully engaged in their learning, teachers employ a variety of interesting and fascinating tools to teach the ideas described in the curriculum. Such resources or materials can help students turn learning experiences into reality to make learning more fun, engaging, and interactive. These are tools used in educational activities , including positive learning and assessment.

3. LEARNING PACKAGE Learning package is a collection of all that is necessary or a student in a document to achieve one or more educational objectives independently. It comprises of 1.specific objectives 2.a complete documentation required to achieve the objective which may include references to any of the following:

4. 1.Q and A Module The Of A module consists text type lea rn ing materials with various question and answer related to remote sensing. Each material explains certain concept related to remote sensing. After reading the learning material, us e has to answer to some question s to check his/her understanding. By using the graphical / animated function of Macromedia Flash, the learning procedure with Q & A module becomes more like playing a game.

5. 2. Jigsaw puzzle Module: The jigsaw puzzle contains a series of digital jigsaw puzzle consist of certain satellite image such as Landsat / TM, JERS-1/ SA R, Terra /MODIS. The Jigsaw puzzle are not only for fun but also give good chance for the beginners to look satellite images in detail.

6. 3.Database Module: Database module consists of various detailed information on remote sensing including remote sensing images. Important key words as such as “electromagnetic wave”, satellite“, “ platform” in the Q & A module as well of as in the Jigsaw puzzle module are hyper linked to the Q & A module as well as in data base module, so the user can learn more details on certain subject.

7. Importance Of Learning Package The Learning package played a vital role to enhance the high learning achievement. The Learning package is the combination of multi-media. It consisted of related course objectives, content, learning experiences. It also supported the learners for the continuous learning. Through the learn ing package, the learning achievement is higher.

Not only the concept of remote sensing but also various applications are explained in details in these materials.

10. 2. Power Point/Slide Type Materials: Many universities are now providing power point type teaching materials through their web site to support their students, and some of them are open to public. For example , The Department of Geometry at The University of Melbourne (http ://www. geom . unimelb.edu .a n / ) is providing many good lecture slides at their web site for the students to download.

11. 3.Lesson Plan Type Materials: As for the lesson plan type materials, Form A Distance" W eb site of NASA (http:/ education. B.Sc. nasa.gov /fad/default. asp) would be a good example. This sit e is well prepared for the education of remote sensing, GIS , and GPS . Practical lesson plan for Grades are presented, and teacher approved web s ites are listed.

12. Conclusion The purpose and importance of teaching and learning materials is to make lessons interesting, learning easy and enable teachers to easily express concepts. Learning materials can significantly increase learners' achievement by supporting learning.
