CONTENT ANALYSIS In the specified syllabus included in the school curriculum for any subject, such content or subject matter and learning experiences are included by which to the definite teaching learning objectives can be fully realized by its teaching - learning meant for a particular The particular content of a subject is generally organized and arranged in the following forms:lass 1. Major and Minor parts or departments. 2. Major and Minor concepts. 3. Units, topics and single concepts. In the same way, the teacher organize and arranges the content into components, that is, sub-units or single concepts in a particular order. Thus when the process of dividing the content of a unit or topic into its components of parts is performed well in a specified order with specific objectives in mind, this process is called content analysis INTRODUCTION

Sources of Content analysis The teacher has to make use of several sources for content analysis. The following sources are used for content analysis 1. studying the authentic books. 2. Keeping the students needs. 3. paying attention to the educational needs too. 4. Understanding the examination system 5. Keeping the utility of the teaching aids and the teachers own skill
Characteristics of Elements of Content analysis: 1. Students displays by his response that he knowns about the elements 2.A The student’s level of the element can be measured, such as knowledge, comprehension, use etc.question is used for the measurement of the element. 3.A question is used for the measurement of the element. 4.With the help of students responses, measurement of comprehension and knowledge of various elements can be done. 5.The behavioural change can be observed from the students response for the element.
