YAY! ONE
EXTRA DAY
February 29 rolls around every 4 years and just about every
society from every country has some type of celebration
marking that extra day. According to the Gregorian calendar
that is the world’s most widely used civil calendar, each leap
year consists of 366 days instead of 365. This extra day,
known as Leap Day, adjusts for the fact that an astronomical
year is slightly less than 365 days and 6 hours. The last Leap
Day occurred in 2020, and the next will arrive in 2028.

AJMER LOK SABHA SEAT
Political dynamics in Ajmer keep changing in every poll
ven from a politi-
cal point of view,
Ajmer Lok Sab-
ha constituency
cannot be consid-
ered the stronghold of any
particular party.
Talking about caste
equations, SC/ST popula-
tion in this seat is about
22%. Apart from this,
about 16–17% of popula-
tion is Jat, while Muslims
occupy about 12% of the
population. There are also
Rajput and Vaishya com-
munities in some areas.
The electoral history of
Ajmer LS seat was earlier
dominated by Congress,
and it held it until 1989.
Shrikaran Sharda of Janata
Party had reached Parlia-
ment from this seat in sixth
Lok Sabha in 1977. After
this, BJP’s Rasa Singh
Rawat held this seat in 3
consecutive polls from
1989 to March 1998.
In twelfth LS polls, Dr
Prabha Thakur of Con-
gress wrested the seat
from BJP. However, a
year later, in 1999 polls,
BJP’s Rawat made a
comeback and won in two
consecutive polls. Ajmer
is famous all over the
world because of its com-
munal harmony and its
unique culture. While fa-
mous Dargah of Hazrat
Moinuddin Chishti is lo-
cated here, world-famous
temple of Brahma in
Pushkar also falls in
Ajmer LS constituency.

FIRST LOK SABHA PART 2
Rift in Cong gives
birth to some new
political parties
Manoj Mathur
Jaipur
ven before the
first Lok Sabha
elections in the
country, a period
of political manoeuvring
had started. Many veter-
an leaders, who were as-
sociated with Congress
during freedom move-
ment, left and formed
new political outfits to
compete with Congress
in polls. It can be said
that trend of rebellion of
leaders from parties had
started with advent of de-
mocracy in the country.
Among the veteran
Congress leaders, JB Kri-
palani formed Kisan
Mazdoor Praja Party,
while Ram Manohar Lo-
hia and Jayprakash
Narayan laid the founda-
tion of Socialist Party.
After independence,
PM Nehru had appointed
15 veterans from differ-
ent sections of the society
as ministers in first Un-
ion Cabinet. Among
these Dr Syama Prasad
Mookerjee founded
Bharatiya Jana Sangh
and Dr. Bhimrao Ambed-
kar set up Scheduled
Caste Federation. In the
first LS polls, the Left,
abandoning armed strug-
gle in Telangana, con-
tested 49 seats, while
Bolshevik Party and Za-
mindar Party ran inde-
pendently. Despite
Nehru’s charismatic in-
fluence, neither veteran
Congress leaders nor fig-
ures like Mookerjee and
Ambedkar posed signifi-
cant electoral challenges.
NEHRU WAS THE STAR ELECTION CAMPAIGNER
Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was the star
FDPSDLJQHURI&RQJUHVVLQWKHnUVW/RN6DEKD
election. He travelled 40,000 kilometers in the
election campaign and addressed about 3.5 crore people.
This was an extraordinary feat for that era. The opposition
parties had strong leaders but did not have the organisation,
resources and workers to run such a comprehensive
election campaign. Nevertheless, all the parties
communicated their message to voters in different ways.
At that time, reconstruction of independent India, rights of
common citizens, economy, society, culture etc. became
poll issues. Opposition parties got about 31% votes.
l Opposition parties
took 31% votes, but
only 2 could cross

Elephant ?Gouri? attacks Russian
woman, 2
nd
incident in two years

-DLSXU
The elephant rides at Am-
ber Fort in Jaipur are in
the limelight, although for
the wrong reason again.
An elephant named Gouri
attacked a Russian tourist
named Maria, on Febru-
ary 13 in the main court-
yard of Fort, a video of
which surfaced on
Wednesday. The footage,
captured on CCTV, shows
the elephant grabbing the
woman in her trunk,
swinging her vigorously,
and slamming her to the
ground. A leg of the tour-
ist was reportedly broken.
The same elephant,
who is forced to give tour-
ist rides, had severely in-
jured a male shopkeeper
in October 2022.
The People for the
Ethical Treatment of An-
imals (PETA) India has
written to Deputy CM
Diya Kumari, who also
has the charge of Minis-
ter for Tourism, Art and
Culture, Archaeology
and Museums, calling
for Gouri to be rehabili-
tated and for all elephant
rides to be replaced with
eco-friendly electric or
battery-operated vehi-
cles, as was recommend-
ed in a report of the com-
mittee constituted by the
Project Elephant divi-
sion of the Ministry of
Environment, Forest and
Climate Change, per an
order of the Supreme
Court of India.

Despite being a
known danger, Gouri
continued to be used
to carry tourists at
Amer Fort. Rajasthan
authorities must send
her to a sanctuary for
her and tourists? sake
and replace the use of
elephants with
beautifully decorated
electric vehicles. In the
meantime, tourists
must make kind
choices and not
support this abuse.

t was in 2016 that Sing-
hasth Mahakumbh was
held in Ujjain. Prime
Minister Narendra Modi had also
come to attend the religious festiv-
ity. During this time a ?Vichar Ma-
hakumbh? (exchange of ideas)
was also held in which various
proposals were discussed. One of
the proposals was to adorn the
Mahakal temple with the legends
of Lord Shiva so that the millions
of devotees who visit the temple
from the country and abroad, have
something more to see apart from
the ?darshan?. It was then the PM?s
effort and vision that led to the
successful establishment of the
Mahakal Corridor, a unique initia-
tive to enhance the value and at-
traction of the historic temple and
establish it as an eminent tourist
centre before the world.
Modi ji had been to Ujjain
earlier in 2004 for the Kumbh
Snan (the holy dip during
Kumbh). He was the CM of Gu-
jarat at that time, but once at this
holy place, he took the dip in the
Kshipra river at Ram Ghat just
like a common devotee, deeply
steeped in devotion of Mahakal.
He then went for Mahakal ?dar-
shan?. We felt the thought of a
Mahakal Lok (corridor) that
would reflect the grandeur of
Lord Shiva had already come to
his mind at that time.
By 2016, he had decided to
change the face of Ujjain and
started plans for the same. He
brought the Smart City project to
Ujjain and stressed the cleaning
of the Kshipra River. When in his
early days he came to Ujjain to
chair party meets or later when he
held election rallies here, he al-
ways used to say, one day I will
bring holy Narmada waters to
mix with Kshipra. And he, with
the assistance of the Madhya
Pradesh government, did make it
a success.
Modi ji?s vision was to make
Ujjain a cultural and spiritual cap-
ital and he tirelessly worked to-
wards it, leading to the transfor-
mation of the temple complex and
uplift of the city in its wake.
When he came to the temple for
puja, he strictly adhered to the tra-
ditions and religious customs laid
down by the shastras (religious
texts), which underscored his pi-
ety and sincerity.
hen I first met him in
2005, he told me the fu-
ture of petrol and fossil
fuels was not bright and we need
to look for alternate sources of
energy for a sustainable future.
He said we have sunlight for al-
most 10 months of the year if the
two months of the rainy season
are excluded. Why don?t we use
the same to power our homes and
industries? It is a tremendous
source of clean energy! He asked
to think of making Gandhinagar
a solar city and plan accordingly.
Gandhinagar today indeed is a
solar city. Even at that time, it was
his far-reaching thought that we
should invest in solar energy be-
fore most people had even
thought of such a possibility.
It is due to Modi ji?s vision that
today border areas of Barmer and
Jaisalmer in Rajasthan are replete
with solar panels and solar power
plants which have completely
changed the economy and the
landscape of the region. Power is
a major fulcrum of economic de-
velopment and cheap power can
go a long way in promoting in-
vestments and industries. Modi ji
had understood this way before
others could even dream of such
a venture because he had located
this is India?s strength which
could give us a headstart in this
direction.
He always used to think differ-
ently and see what others couldn?t.
His inquisitiveness led him to
China and there he saw how solar
power was being harnessed
through huge plants. Even back
in 2005-2006, he was discussing
how solar panels could be set up
along the Narmada canal (Sardar
Sarovar canal) and how this
would benefit us. We told him
that doing so would save land and
since farmers used the canal, they
would also have access to power.
But Modi ji was two steps ahead
of us. He said, setting up panels
along the canal would increase
their efficiency as water would
flow below the panels and keep
them cool. Such technical knowl-
edge just bowled us out.
When we look back in 2030,
we would say it was the vision of
one man which made India the
largest renewable energy-produc-
ing country in the world. Modi ji
had seen the canal concept during
his Korea visit and he was keen
to replicate the same along the
Narmada canal. Initially, every-
one was apprehensive that it
would be too expensive a project
and that we must wait for better
or cheaper technology to imple-
ment it. But Modi ji did his all to
ensure it was successful here. It
was in Vadodara where for the
first time in the country the pro-
ject was finally implemented.
Modi ji had no hesitation in walk-
ing the extra mile when it came to
adopting the latest technology for
the benefit of the economy and
the masses.
In 2022, when there was a na-
tional meet of the village heads in
Delhi, Modi ji interacted with
many of the panchayat pradhans
at his residence. When he heard
of Becharaji, he instantly took a
detailed status report of the solar
power plant being built at that
time at Modhera near Becharaji
as to how was the progress of the
project and how it was affecting
people there.
A very big solar power plant is
being built in the Rann of Kutch
desert. This will give a big boost
not only to the remote Kutch re-
gion but to Gujarat?s power sce-
nario as well.
Modi ji transformed Ujjain into
a cultural and spiritual capital

The narrator shared instances from inspections where Modi?s precise observations were validated, underscoring his
meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, they highlighted Modi ji?s steadfast focus, impervious to distractions, along with
his adeptness at information gathering to enhance his decision-making prowess, among various other impressive qualities.
y job was to oversee the
interior decoration of CM
Narendra Modi?s guest
house. The flooring work was go-
ing on in the large hall of the facil-
ity. A lot of debris was lying around
in the place as work was on. They
included rods, cement, tiles, pipes
and bricks strewn haphazardly. For
work on electric connection, 8-10
switchboards were carved and
placed on the side. The switch-
boards should be at the same level
across the guest house and any de-
viation in the uniformity of their
size and placement won?t look
good. I was ensuring the same.
One day the chief minister
walked into the place incidentally.
He casually asked me if the holes
for the electric boards were done,
and I replied, yes. Then he conduct-
ed a detailed inspection of the work.
In a while he
called out ?Mukund
Lal?, the name by
which he addressed
me affectionately. I
rushed to him and
he pointed to a hole
and said, see, this
placement is three
inches above the
rest. He then
moved ahead and
pointed at another
switchboard and
said, this one is an
inch and a half be-
low the rest. This way, he showed
me quite a few board placements
which didn?t seem uniform to him.
I told him it was my profession to
ensure everything was in place and
he need not worry himself with
such small things. Once the flooring
was done, I would take all the exact
measurements and show them to
him. They would all be uniform. To
this he said, okay, so show me the
measurements then.
You won?t believe, that when
the flooring was done and the final
measurements were taken, the dis-
crepancies he had pointed out dur-
ing the inspection, came exactly
true. I was astounded by his atten-
tion to detail.

his is a small example of
Narendra Modi?s ability
to gather information to
strengthen his knowledge base
which helped in his decision-mak-
ing process. I was serving as the
collector of the Mehsana district at
that time. The repair and renova-
tion work of Becharaji temple
there was taken up around the
same time.
However, when the first rains
came, there was some leakage
found in the temple through its
roof as water started dripping in. I
got a call from Modi ji?s office the
same night itself. Queries were
raised as to how there could be
leakage in a temple that was so
freshly renovated. I was surprised
that even being in the district and
leading it, I was till that time una-
ware of this problem at the temple,
while the CM, sitting in
Ahmedabad, amid all his busy-
ness, was fully informed of what
was happening far away in
Mehsana. Later we were told by
the engineers that the joints con-
solidated after the first rains and
this was normal. From next time,
the leakage stopped.
What I came to realise after this
incident was that Modi ji?s infor-
mation network and people con-
nect was so strong that he had
every smallest detail of the hap-
penings in the state at his fingertips
24/7. The habit still persists with
him. Despite being at the top post,
he keeps close track of everything
that is happening in any corner of
the country, even the smallest
problems of the last man in the
row. This impeccable tab on
knowledge helps in his decision-
making and fram-
ing his policies
that are so people-
centric and effec-
tive in addressing
problems with
precision, be it ex-
tending help to the
poor to efficiently
managing natural
calamities. Despite
the height of his
success and
achievement, his
ear is always to the
ground.

MODI?S
TEMPLE
ODYSSEY
A SAGA OF FAITH
AND FELLOWSHIP!
rime Minister Narendra
Modi recently took part
in the Pran Pratishtha
ceremony of the Valinath Ma-
hadev temple at Talabh in Guja-
rat?s Mehsana, which is one of
the largest temples in north Gu-
jarat. But his association with
the temple is long, especially
with Mahantshri Baldev Giri ji
Maharaj, with whom he had a
strong bonding. So, whenever
Modi ji met Guru ji, the latter
applied Bhasma Tilak on his
forehead. Even if Guru ji forgot
to do so, Modi ji would remind
him and urge him to apply the
holy tilak on his forehead. It was
a deep bonding of guru and dis-
ciple. During CM Modi?s Sadb-
havna Mission in Gujarat, when
he was keeping fast, it was Guru
ji who conducted the ritual to
break the fast.
Even way back when he was
an RSS pracharak, Modi ji used
to spend long hours with Baldev
Giri Bapu and listen to him in-
tently. After becoming the CM of
the state for the first time, Modi
ji had straight come to meet his
Guru and seek his blessings. He
was so closely associated with
his principles and his affection
that when he passed away, Modi
ji personally called up the mem-
bers of the community and ex-
pressed his deep condolence at
the loss and counted it as his per-
sonal grief.
While being the CM, the news
of the worsening health condition
of Guru ji once reached Modi ji?s
office. He immediately took a
break from his work and himself
suggested Ayurvedic treatment
for him for his early recovery. He
got the medicines noted down
and sent them to Guru ji, asking
to ensure those were taken regu-
larly and on time. The temple?s
Pran Pratishtha thus holds special
significance for the PM, which is
why he made it a point to attend
the ceremony.
uring the Swarna Jayanti Rath
Yatra of Lal Krishna Advani,
Narendra Modi was the in-charge
of the whole programme. On its way to
Kashmir, the Yatra took a halt at Jwala-
mukhi in Himachal Pradesh. I was among
the party functionaries responsible for the
overall arrangements during the stay of the
leaders. Yatra was to proceed towards
Nurpur and Pathankot very next morning.
Modi ji called the local MLA and two
karyakartas and asked them to take a ve-
hicle immediately and proceed for a recce
of the route the Yatra was about to take.
We were all surprised as to what was the
purpose of such a recce just a day before
the journey. But Modi ji?s thoughts were
always ahead of the rest and he could see
what others couldn?t.
He asked the party men to see carefully
if the road till Nurpur was perfectly suit-
able for the travel of the Rath Yatra. He
asked them to ensure the height of the tun-
nels on the way should be suitable, i.e. not
too low, so that they could comfortably
accommodate Advani ji?s chariot and
there must be no obstacles on the road like
narrow bridges or any gateways that could
trouble progress of the Yatra in any way.
Incidentally, there were quite a few ob-
stacles that were noticed in the quick sur-
vey by karyakartas. Here we realised far-
sightedness of Modi ji. Alternative routes
were then immediately finalised and the
Yatra was thus taken through those bypass
routes so that the obstacles on the main
route could be skirted. By midnight of that
day, Modi ji had fully prepared the route
map, knowing exactly where to take turns,
which roads to leave or take and how to
maneuver the Yatra for its smooth passage.
Also, I remember, on that day Advani ji
was not keeping too well, while he had
plans to visit a temple the same evening.
To ensure that everything was smooth and
safe for the party stalwart, Modi ji sent two
karyakartas to go and count the number of
stairs to the temple and the height of the
stairs to check if Advani ji would be com-
fortable enough to climb the height, given
his health condition. Such was his concern
and meticulous planning that nothing
could go wrong once he was at the helm.
Advani ji finally dropped the plan to visit
the temple that night and took up the jour-
ney the next morning for better safety.
Modi ji had told us, that Advani ji is
very much needed for nation. His safety
and well-being should be paramount to us.
Keeping this in mind, he did all planning
and took action within a matter of hours,
even before anyone could think of these.
Today when the media asks, how does
Modi ji do all the work so perfectly and in
time, they must know that the steps Modi
ji takes have their planning in his mind for
months. When the time comes, the or-
ganisation seems pitch-perfect, but all the
arrangements for the same are already
decided in Modi ji?s mind much before the
actual manifestation. Such is his unique
organisational caliber.

Narendra Modi:
Man of perfect
execution and
thoroughness
The narrators elaborate on PM Modi?s longstanding connection with the temple, particularly
highlighting his close relationship with Mahant Shri Baldev Giri ji Maharaj. Modi?s visionary
mindset consistently sets him apart, enabling him to perceive opportunities that elude others.
His meticulous approach ensures that every task is executed flawlessly and timely, reflecting
the careful planning that precedes each of his actions, often months in advance and lots more.

NATIONAL ECONOMIC CONCLAVE
?Person derided as tea-seller put India on devp path?

nion Minister
Anurag Thakur
today said the
Congress had humiliated
Narendra Modi as a ?tea-
seller and a backward
person? when the BJP
had presented him as its
prime ministerial candi-
date, but the same ?hon-
est? leader had put the
country firmly on the
path of development.
Addressing the Na-
tional Economic Con-
clave organised by the
Interactive Forum on In-
dian Economy, Thakur
said ?Viksit Bharat?, an
idea mooted by the prime
minister, has become a
buzzword which is being
debated at conferences,
public meetings and po-
litical rallies.
??Viksit Bharat? is not
just a dream but a re-
solve, which we have to
turn to reality,? the senior
BJP leader said.
Thakur said just 10
years back, the nation
was in the midst of
scams, policy paralysis, a
tottering economy and
declining graph globally.
?Leadership appeared
weak and ran on remote
control. Coalition dhar-
ma was only practised to
shield the corrupt. The
coffers of the country
were emptying and in-
vestments too were low.
This was not good for
any country. The poor
were getting poorer de-
spite the slogan ?Garibi
Hatao? which was given
since the time of Nehru,?
Thakur said.

US Army is slashing

The U.S. Army is slash-
ing the size of its force by
about 24,000, or almost

be better able to fight the
next major war, as the

The cuts will mainly
be in already-empty posts
? not actual soldiers ?
including in jobs related

Indian youth leading global tech progress: Om Birla
Command of CMO to an ACS yields results
First India Bureau
Kota
Lok Sabha Speaker Om
Birla while addressing
the third convocation of
the Indian Institute of In-
formation Technology
(IIIT) in Kota, said that in
the present era of techno-
logical inventions and
innovation, Indian youth
are playing a remarkable
and leading role in global
technological progress.
Speaking about his
experiences during his
visits to Japan, Canada
and various European
countries, he mentioned
that Indian youth are
leading the revolution in
technology, innovation,
Artificial Intelligence
and startups all over the
world.
Birla also praised IIIT-
Kota for tech leadership,
emphasises holistic edu-
cation inspired by an-
cient Gurukuls and en-
courages innovation for
societal change.
Rajendra Chhabra
Jaipur
ositive results
are emerging af-
ter handing over
the command of CMO to
a senior IAS of ACS level
for the first time. Many
things are being seen for
the first time. 1993 batch
IAS officer Shikhar
Agrawal has shown a new
path to the importance of
this chair, showcasing its
active and positive impact
on governance.
It would be worthwhile to
discuss a recent step taken
on Wednesday wherein
traditionally it is the fi-
nance department which
usually looks after the
treasury of the state.
However, the CMO under
Agrawal has probably be-
come active in this field
for the first time.
Agrawal sent details of
the state fund pending
with the Government of
India to all ACS, Principal
Secretaries and Secretar-
ies and requested that
they should make efforts
to get the details of the
funds from the concerned
ministry.
The CMO at his level has
collected details of the
outstanding amount of
Central Sponsored
schemes (CSS) in the GoI.
The details are as follows:
l Agriculture & Horticul-
ture Dept: Rs 210.49 cr
l Medical and Health
Dept: Rs 227.89 cr
l School Education De-
partment: Rs 1,800
crore
l Rural Development
Department: Rs 1181 cr
l WCD Department: Rs
286.76 cr
l Social Justice Depart-
ment: Rs 273 cr
Apart from this, details
of other pending funds
have also been collected,
and a request has been
made to officers to get this
amount released. ACS
Agrawal has also sent this
message to all the officers
saying that ?Copies of the
latest requests sent may be
made available to us for
follow-up.?
Additionally, Agrawal
actively shares his wealth
of knowledge and exper-
tise during senior officers?
meetings with the CM.
During a recent three-hour
marathon session involv-
ing all ACS, Principal
Secretaries, and Secretar-
ies with the Chief Minis-
ter, when the topic of
PHED arose, Shikhar in-
tervened decisively, en-
suring a judicious deci-
sion was reached. PHED
Secretary Samit Sharma
proposed allocating a con-
tingency fund of Rs 25
lakh to each district for
drinking water. Based on
his experience, Agrawal
expressed his views that
Rs 25 lakh will be less; it
should be Rs 50 lakh. The
CM agreed to Shikhar and
approved Rs 50 lakh.
In the past, the Principal
Secretary to the CM had
rarely attended officers?
meetings in the field, but
this time when CM Bhajan
Lal Sharma went to
Bharatpur, ACS Shikhar
Agrawal also accompa-
nied him for the first time.
In a significant gathering
of Divisional-level offic-
ers, Agrawal was ob-
served seated alongside
the CM, marking a nota-
ble precedent. Evidently,
the CM is according
prominence to his ACS.
Shikhar Agrawal is well
known for his diligent
work ethic, results-driven
approach, and exacting
standards. His tenure at
JDA has been distin-
guished and while lever-
aging extensive experi-
ence both at State and
Central governments,
Agrawal tirelessly en-
deavours to carve out a
fresh identity for CMO.
Om Birla hands over a degree to a student during the
Convocation Ceremony of IIIT, Kota on Wednesday.

n the realm of fashion, trends of-
ten come and go, but some styles
possess a timeless allure that
transcends generations. Hippie
fashion is one such phenomenon
that continues to captivate individuals with its
free-spirited ethos and eclectic aesthetic.
Once considered avant-garde and out of the
box, hippie fashion has evolved over the
decades, offering a myriad of variations that
seamlessly blend the past with the present.
Hippie fashion emerged during the coun-
tercultural movement of the 1960s, char-
acterized by its rejection of mainstream
norms and embrace of individuality.
Flowing maxi dresses, fringed vests,
bell-bottom jeans, and tie-dye prints be-
came emblematic of the movement,
reflecting a desire for peace, love, and
harmony. Today, hippie fashion has
undergone a modern transformation,
blending elements of its original ethos
with contemporary trends. Bohemian-
inspired looks featuring floral prints,
earthy tones, and relaxed silhouettes
dominate runways and street style
alike. Designers infuse hippie elements into
their collections, offering a fresh take on
retro classics.
Incorporating hippie fashion into one’s eve-
ryday wardrobe is easier than ever, thanks to
its versatile nature. Opt for flowy peasant
blouses paired with denim shorts for a laid-
back yet chic vibe. Accessorize with layered
necklaces, beaded bracelets, and oversized
sunglasses to channel the carefree spirit of
the ‘60s.
For those looking to infuse a touch of
hippie flair into their party attire, there are
countless options to explore. A fringed
suede jacket adds a bohemian edge to a sim-
ple black dress, while floral headbands evoke
a whimsical charm. Embrace bold prints and
vibrant hues for a statement-making ensem-
ble that exudes confidence and individual-
ity. Hippie fashion remains a beloved style
aesthetic that celebrates freedom of ex-
pression and self-discovery. Whether in-
corporated into everyday looks or elevat-
ed for special occasions, the timeless
charm of hippie fashion continues to
inspire individuals to embrace their in-
ner free spirit and style gracefully in
every aspect of life.

Anant Am-

wedding celebrations are
making waves as their invite
surfaces online. The festivi-
ties are scheduled to take
place from March 1-3 in Jam-
nagar, Gujarat, at the Reliance
Greens, known for its com-

mals and birds. Mukesh and
Nita Ambani personally craft-
ed a special handwritten in-

On Friday evening, guests
will attend an ‘Evening in
Everland-themed’ cocktail
party. The following day,
they will be taken on a tour of
the Reliance animal rescue
centre, for which they’ve
been asked to wear ‘comfort-
able shoes’. That evening,
guests will dress in a ‘desi
romance style’ for a ‘Mela
Rogue’ party hosted by the
couple. On day three, the
guests will be taken on a
‘Tusker Trail’, for which
they’ve been requested to
dress in ‘casual chic’. The fi-
nal event is a traditional
‘hastakshar’ ceremony, for
which the guests will dress in
sherwanis and lehengas. The
ceremony will be carried out
in the Jamnagar Township
Temple complex.
According to reports, a
team of 21 chefs is being
flown in for the lavish event.
Over 2,500 dishes will be

productions. Despite the tight
schedule, the Arun Group de-
livered an impeccable server,
thanks to a dedicated team of
110 craftsmen, led by Direc-
tor Antara Pabuwal, employ-
ing traditional Indian tech-
niques and modern CNC

at an upcoming event. The
Ambani family, renowned for
their opulent affairs, is also
dedicated to animal welfare.
They've inaugurated One Tara,
the nation's largest animal res-

initiative underscores their
commitment to animal welfare
alongside their lavish celebra-

Attendees were treated to
a visual feast as they mar-

the highlight of the event
came on the second day with
a spirited car rally that en-
thralled spectators.
The rally, organized for
owners and their families, pro-
vided a unique opportunity to
witness these automotive
treasures in action. Among the
notable participants was SS
Singhvi, with his iconic Aus-
tin 7 (1926 model) and Austin

tion from onlookers.
The graceful presence of
the Austin 7 and Austin 10
added to the nostalgic charm
of the rally, evoking fond
memories of a bygone era. As
the vintage and classic cars
paraded through the streets of
Jaipur, they captured the im-

he Real Housewives of
Atlanta universe is
buzzing as Porsha Wil-
liams and Simon
Guobadia’s unexpected divorce
announcement sent shockwaves,
catching even TV host Andy Co-
hen off guard. In a surprising turn
of events, Cohen disclosed that
none of the show’s producers were
aware of the impending separation.
Expressing his astonishment,
Cohen shared, “None of us knew
any of this was on the horizon, and
this was meant to be Porsha’s hap-
pily ever after kind of victory lap
season.” The news hit the produc-
tion team amidst rumours sur-
rounding Simon Guobadia’s im-
migration issues, adding an unfore-
seen twist to Porsha’s storyline.
While the reason behind the di-
vorce remains undisclosed, Cohen
emphasized that it wasn’t tied to
any involvement in affairs. The TV
presenter conveyed his support for
Porsha, stating, “This is a big right
turn from the story that I think all
of us thought we would be telling,
so sending love to Porsha.”
Porsha Williams and Simon
Guobadia’s whirlwind romance
had its share of controversy, with
Guobadia proposing to Williams
shortly after divorcing his first
wife, Falynn Pina. The couple tied
the knot in November 2022, mak-
ing headlines for their rapid jour-
ney from courtship to marriage.
Now, just 15 months later, Porsha
reportedly filed for divorce on Feb-
ruary 23, leaving fans and even
industry insiders like Cohen eager
to uncover the untold chapters of
this reality TV saga.

ndia's railway
stations are
undergoing a
significant
overhaul through the In-
dian Railways Amrit
Bharat Station Scheme,
aiming to revamp over
1300 stations across the
country. Recently, the
Prime Minister's recent
inauguration of the rede-
velopment of 553 sta-
tions underscores the
scheme's ambitious
scope. Already, work is
underway for 508 sta-
tions since the PM's
foundation stone laying
ceremony last year. The
initiative prioritizes mod-
ernizing infrastructure to
elevate passenger experi-
ence, including aestheti-
cally designed facades,
improved platforms,
landscaping, and more.
What sets this scheme
apart is its emphasis on
integrating local culture
and heritage into station
designs. For instance,
stations in Ahmedabad
and Dwarka draw inspi-
ration from iconic tem-
ples, while others like
Gurugram and Balesh-
war reflect regional
themes like IT and spir-
ituality.
Rajasthan, with 85 sta-
tions under redevelop-
ment, showcases a blend
of tradition and moder-
nity. Jaipur, Udaipur, and
Jodhpur are among the
stations transforming.
Uttar Pradesh leads in
the number of stations
earmarked for redevel-
opment, followed by
Maharashtra and West
Bengal.
This initiative builds
upon earlier successes
like the modernization of
Gandhinagar and Habib-
ganj stations in 2021,
with plans to revamp ma-
jor hubs like New Delhi,
Ahmedabad, and Mum-
bai's Chhatrapati Shivaji
Maharaj Terminus. With
its comprehensive ap-
proach and commitment
to preserving heritage,
the Amrit Bharat Station
Scheme heralds a new
era for India's railways,
promising enhanced in-
frastructure and enriched
travel experiences na-
tionwide.

Hashmi,
known
for his
bold film
choices,
reminisced about his Bol-
lywood debut in the 2003
film “Footpath.” Despite
hailing from the Bhatt
film family, Emraan re-
vealed in a recent inter-
view that his journey be-
gan with a stern warning
from Mahesh Bhatt.
The seasoned director
told him bluntly, “If
you are not good in
that first shot, we
will throw you
out of this film.”
Emraan em-
braced the chal-
lenge, realizing
he had to prove
his worth in the
industry.
Contrary to
any perceived
privilege, Em-
raan empha-
sized that fam-
ily ties didn’t
guarantee suc-
cess, and he
had to earn his
place. He viv-
idly recalled the fear in-
stilled in him by the
straightforward message
from Mahesh Bhatt, mak-
ing him understand the
business aspect of film-
making.
Adding a personal
touch to his story, Emraan
shared that even his fam-
ily doubted his acting
abilities. His grandmother
discouraged him from en-
tering the industry, and his
mother was apprehensive.
However, he took baby
steps, working hard in a
production house that
initially focused on
small films but
eventually be-
came a force in
the industry.
Emraan’s
journey,
marked by
challenges
and scepti-
cism, show-

break through
and establish
himself as a ver-
