Explain to kids that the suffix -ly is a word part that is added to the end of a word and changes its meaning. This video focuses on 3 rules: (1) add -ly to the end of a word, (2) when the word ends in y, change the y to i and add -ly. and (3) when the word ends in le change the e to y.

1. Add –lyto the end of a word.
