PROBLEM FACED BY NURSERY Flood and unfavorable climatic conditions-- The nursery is situated in Konkan Region. The area is known for heavy rainfall. So the same is main natural problem faced by nursery. Due to it there are disease like – root rot, mildew which makes gross damages to the plants. In the summer season there is temperature is increase upto 40 degree Celsius. It causes die back, leaf rot. In the winter season sometimes temperature decreases upto 8 degree Celsius. It causes frost.   Unavailability of skilled labour — Labour problem is the motly faced problem of the nursery. Labours are getting to much holiday. Time for work is not uniform. Many time demands hike of wages. Pest and disease attack— Economical problem—In this economic year, due to Covid there is no sell of the nursery plants. Accordingly no earning is there. But work of nursey is not closed. Watering and Caring of plants is necessary. So labours are engaged. So though there is no much earning. So in this year the owner has to face loss.

SUGGESTIONS TO OVERCOME PROBLEM •Apply fogger system for watering •Increase ornamental plant   •Workers must develop skills. They should be trained • Proper care of plants should be done according to climate change

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION My last year project was to work with a nursery. Due to Pandamic situation it is not easy to choose the nursery. But after consulting with our Principal Mr.S.R.Patil and Professor Mr.M.N.Patil it becomes easy to choose the nursery and to work there. I have got great experience of working with the nursery labours and get training from the owner of the nursery, Mr.Sharad bhosale about propagation of various plants. I also go through the spraying and fertilizing process of plants. Mr.Bhosale also taught me, how to display the plants and how to market them. I also suggest him about his nursery problems such as, natural disaster etc. . In all 2 months period was spend by me with nursery. It was a great experience. It is useful for my next life. I am very thankful for it.
