Change Proposal
After analyzing the call traces and the network configuration related to the VoLTE problems with 5G capable UEs we found a parameter mismatch
Proposal Configuration
•In all LTE anchor nodes:
MO: ENodeBFunction
Parameter: endcDataUsageReportEnabled
Value: TRUE
•In all NR nodes :
MO: GNBCUUPFunction
Parameter: endcDataUsageReportEnabled
Value: TRUE
Current Configuration
•In all LTE anchor nodes:
MO: ENodeBFunction
Parameter: endcDataUsageReportEnabled
Value: TRUE
•In all NR nodes :
MO: GNBCUUPFunction
Parameter: endcDataUsageReportEnabled
Value: TRUE
The secondary RAT data usage reporting functionality is activated by setting the following attributes to true:
•The ENodeBFunction.endcDataUsageReportEnabled attribute on the Master Node.
•The GNBCUUPFunction.endcDataUsageReportEnabled attribute on the Secondary Node.
Note: If secondary RAT data usage reporting is activated on only the Master Node, but not on the Secondary Node,
the EN-DC setup cannot be completed.
