2. ANO ANG TEKSTONG ARGUMENTATIBO? 2 Ito ay isang uri ng teksto na ang pangunahing layunin ay makapaglahad ng katuwiran o paninindigan . Sa tekstong ito , ang manunulat ay kailangang maipagtanggol ang kaniyang posisyon sa paksa o isyung pinag-uusapan .

3. EBIDENSYA O PATUNAY 3 Ang ilan sa mga ebidensya na pwede niyang gamitin ay sariling karanasan , kasaysayan , kaugnay na mga literatura , at resulta ng empirikal na pananaliksik .

7. 2. ARGUMENTO Ito ay ang pagpapahayag ng mga dahilan at ebidensya upang maipagtanggol ang katuwiran ng isang panig . Ito ang tawag sa pangangatwirang ipinapahayag upang maipakita ang kamalian o kawastuan ng isang ideya o kilos. 7

9. 1. PANGYAYARI Ito ay paninindigan sa katunayan o kabulaanan ng isang bagay na makatotohanan . HALIMBAWA: “ Nagkaroon ng lihim na komprehensya ang mga pangulo ng iba’t ibang samahang pangmag-aaral sa di malamang mga dahilan .” 9

10. 2. KAHALAGAHAN Ang paninindigan ay kahalagahan ng isang bagay . Bumubuo ng mga argumento na nagtatanggol sa kabuuan ng isang bagay , isang palakad o isang pagkilos . HALIMBAWA: “ Ang pagkakaisa ng mamamayan sa pamahalaan ay mahalaga upang malutas ang mga suliranin ng atin lipunan .” 10

11. 3. PATAKARAN Ito ay paninindigan na karaniwang ginagamit sa pampublikong pagtatalo . Ito ay isang proposisyong naghahanap ng isang paraan ng isang pagkilos o isang binalak na solusyon sa isang suliranin . Karaniwang gumagamit ang proposisyong ito ng salitang dapat . HALIMBAWA: “ Dapat alisin ang mga dyip at palitan ng mga bus. 11
