3. Research My strengths of the research were that I found really interesting interviews that had strong conversation starters and this came in handy for what I was wanting to have in my interview. Another thing is that it didn’t have cheesy sound effects it was cool smooth effects so I took that and used that with my intro and outro of a zoom sound to hit the critireia and make it more exiting. The weaknesses were that them interviews were with musicians or actors so didn’t really have any relevance to the subject I was wanting. I could have looked for interviews that had some relevance or similarities with the subject I had.

4. Planning T he strengths of my planning is that you can make sure everything your thinking is there and you can decide what one is the best idea. T he weakness of the planning is you waste a lot of time creating ideas your not going to use it and more effort can go into making the real one also I didmt have many ideas I only wanted to do one so I ended up spending time thinking of other ideas I didn ’ t want. I could have made it longer or added more to it like some more effects but I didn ’ t really want it to be cheesy but if I had sent my interview out in a different way I might have been able to add them effects.

Time Management Y es I managed my time well I started by finishing all the power points off that I could and got the out the way then I started to record my interview and then started editing it straight after soi could finish the power points that I needed to complete after I recorded and finished the production. I don ’ t think additional time would have effected it as I didn ’ t really rush and I still got it finished.

6. Technical Qualities https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqKBqQ2mzTU We both have introductions and an interviewees that we talk about subjects that we both know of. The differences is we are on about a different subject and my interviewee isn’t famous and is just a person who did the ncs.

Aural Qualities Personally I think my work sounds really good and I would say it works really well with the music and the sound effects I believe it sounds fresh and new and something a younger person would listen to if it came on the radio it maybe could have been said a little better and clearer but because of the area we was recording in it was echoing and we had to rush before someone else came up the stairs and made a noise but apart from the I believe it sounded really good.

8. Audience Appeal My audience is 15-18 year olds and because it is this is about the ncs and you have to be 15-18 to do the ncs as a student or older for to e a mentor . We talk about the different weeks to make the people listening consider it as we may say something that makes them really want to go for example when I say kayaking someone might be listening in who really loves water sports and they might want to go because they know lots of water activities will be taking place on the first week.

10. Feedback 1 What did you like about the product? I really like this radio product because it is very informative as it is giving 15-18 year olds information about NCS. The music really fits in with the context as the song is from the NCS advert. What improvements could have been made to the product? You could add some more sound effects.

11. Feedback 2 What did you like about the product? I like the bond you and sim seem to have in the recording as it reinforces what you said in the respect that you met there and became great friends. There are no blank sections where in many other cases there would be an awkward silence or similar. It is filled with entertainment all the way through. What improvements could have been made to the product? You could maybe find a different way of saying ‘what about you’ instead of using it over and over. The voice towards the end just before the jingle gets a lot louder in comparison to the rest of the show.

12. Feedback 3 What did you like about the product ? I found the product smooth and interesting it made sense and had character in it with Rachel's accent coming through and this makes it less formal and relaxed as there not forcing the accents or anything to sound posh. What improvements could have been made to the product ? I would make it longer and maybe give more information in it about the facts not just what you do.

13. Peer Feedback Summary What do you agree with from your peer feedback ? I think my feedback if fair and I would definitely agree with it all as it has fair points What do you disagree with from your peer feedback ? I don’t really disagree with anything I thought it was all relevant and was fair as well.

14. Peer Feedback Summary I would probably keep it the same but add more sound effects and make my voice a little clearer and add some more important information I didn’t think my radio interview was that bad and gave a fresh feeling to it I would probably also use a recorder that wasn’t as crackly or blurry so that it sounds more crisp. I think the length was just about right and didn’t drag as much as I was think it might have done.
