2. Courtesy introduction . The showing of politeness in one's attitude and behaviour towards others. Courtesy involves being aware not only of the perspective of others, but also their feelings. Not merely politeness but also applying socially accepted manners. 2 /12

4. How can we show courtesy? Show respect for others. Always apologize when you do something wrong. When someone is having a conversation, do not interrupt. When you change your plans, let others know. Respect the needs of others in public. Never embarrass another person. When refusing an invitation, be kind and honest. Respect your elders. 4

5. Suggestions for courteous tone . Be sincerely tactful, thoughtful and appreciative. Use expressions that shows respect. Choose non discriminatory expressions . 4 /12

The holy Prophet urged us all to be humble, modest, courteous and respectful of others, and he urged the parents to teach their children such good qualities. Muhammad PBUH said, “No father has given his child anything batter than good manners.” (Tirmdi) 9 /12

11. Courtesy in I slam. Allah said in Quran . When a courteous greeting is offered to you, greet in return with a greeting still more courteous, or at least of equal courtesy ,Surely Allah keeps an account of all your actions. (Surah an- Nisa ) 10/12
