discrimination Discrimination means treating some people different from others. Its lawful where people are paid salaries differently depending on their skills and performance. But still employees can’t be discriminated against the law based on race, gender, appearance, caste etc.,

Anti discriminaton ( ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ವಿರೋಧಿ ) It ensures that no one is denied their rights because of factors such as race, color, sex, language, religion, political opinion, national origin, property of birth. It also means of treating everyone in the same way, whatever their race, gender etc. maybe ( ಇದರ ಅರ್ಥ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ರೀತಿ ನೋಡುವುದು ಅವರ ಜನಾಂಗ, ಲಿಂಗ ಅಥವಾ ಏನೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿ ) .

ARTICLE 15 IN CONSTITUTION OF INDIA Article 15 of the Indian Constitution prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, gender, or birthplace. The scope of Article 15 extends only to the citizens of India. INDIAN PENAL CODE 1860 (SECTION 153 A): Section 153 A is a provision in the Indian Income-tax Act, 1961 that deals with promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc., and doing acts prejudicial to the maintenance of harmony. Under this section, the person shall be punished with imprisonment which may extend to 3 years and 5 years is imprisonment if discrimination in worship places and shall also be liable to fine
