Ruskin Bond (1934-Present) Better perceived as the Indian ‘ William Wordsworth .’ Ruskin Bond started displaying his writing talent in England and wrote his first novel ‘ Room on the Roof ’ at 17 years of age. And inspired many people by his works. His distinctive writing and mastered words made his novels and stories were tremendous and simple. He won many fans globally and is famous for describing flora and fauna in his writings.

3. Before starting the actual..... Have you ever thought of having a pet....that to a Tiger ...?

6. Scene 01 Location – Terai Jungle Dehradun Siwalik Hills Author’s Grandfather discovers a tiger cub which was 18 inches long during his camping hours. Grandfather describes the animals which were spotted there...they include peacocks, elephants, wild boars etcetera. The grandfather brings the cub to their home. The grandmother names the cub as ‘ TIMOTHY ’ The cub began to grow and did many antics..and the cook used to feed it with milk and other products.

7. Hi Timothy...!

8. Location 02 Author’s home After 6 months ..... The cub began to grow and is a full grown retriever now. The family found difficulties having the grown cub . the tiger was not so friendl y anymore. The Grandfather decides to shift it to zoo .

9. Location 03 Lucknow zoo The tiger is shifted to Lucknow Zoo which was the nearest one. The tiger and grandfather part away their ways.

10. After 6 months Lucknow Zoo After 6 months grandfather visits the zoo to see his tiger. He finds a fully grown tiger in a cage and thinks it was his child.

11. After 6 months Grandfather approaches the tiger in the cage and starts to play with it and puts his hands around it’s neck and the tiger starts to lick his hands. A keeper asks the grandfather what he was doing then he replies that he was speaking with timothy his pet.

12. Continued..... There a leopard keeps on snarling at him and he shooed it away. Grandfather asks the superintendent to change timothy’s cage away from the leopard. He gets to know from the superintendent that the tiger with whom he was playing wasn't timothy but a newly caught tiger, in fact timothy dies two months ago as he was infected by pneumonia.

13. Continued.... After the revelation, grandfather says goodnight timothy and returns home staggering and dis-heartened.
