Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Vision and Mission The Vision Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Basar, shall strive towards becoming a World Class Institution with the vision of transforming meritorious rural youth into professionals equipped with high level of technical knowledge, skills, ethics, social, economic and environmental awareness and values. The University shall be a valuable contributor to the industry, R&D and technical education by providing quality manpower through excellence in teaching, research, consultancy, continuing education and outreach programs. The Mission To create Knowledge Hub for producing qualified manpower possessing industry-ready skills and qualifications in different branches of Engineering. To develop the Institution into a highly research-centric and knowledge acquisition and dissemination centre. To forge productive collaborations between Industry, R&D Institutions and RGUKT that will be beneficial for all stake holders. To promote and propagate innovative teaching and learning programs and create specialized centres of Learning/ Training that will participate in sharing of intellectual resources and academic facilities with other institutions. To encourage a holistic development of students by creating world class laboratories, extra and co-curricular activit ies to build character, confidence, team spirit, communication skills, socio-economic and environmental awareness.

The Intake Process & Departments Merit’ is the only criterion for admission. Admissions to First year (PUC) of integrated B. Tech is based on merit list using Grade poin t Average (GPA) obtained in 10 th Grade/Class. A Deprivation score of 0.4 is added to GPA of those applicants who studied in Non-Residenti al Govt. Schools like Zilla Parishad, Municipal S chools Etc. NASSCOM’S QP PROGRAM NASSCOM’s Quality professional program (QP Program) designed to ensure the students are skill-ready and current running 2 QP Program- Data Analytics and Product Design Engineering. ARM University Program ARM has introduced add-on programs in the realms of Embedded systems, Microprocessors, Mechatronics, SoC designs and Computer Architecture etc . Specialised Training Programs Currently industry trainers are working with students on PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, PHP, JAVA Script, Data base Connectivity and Certifications like CC RGUKT is in collaboration with Non-Ferrous Materials Technology Development Centre (NFTDC) and C-DAC to entails final year NA. projects. English Communication Training iB Hubs English Engine Program, focuses on all dimensions of language learning-Listening , speaking, reading and writing. Department of English developed three English Languages labs using professionally developed language software.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Incubation Centers Ib HUBS (IoT) The group is imparting training to students in different IoT verticals like Smart home Retail Agriculture Smart City etc. The group is also training students in concepts like IoT architecture (Node, Gateway etc.) Prototype to Product lifecycle SA FE T R A CEHUB Telangana Innovation and Incubation Centre (TIIC) at the RGUKT premises. The first incubation “Safe Trace” hub (a Japanese company) has started functioning at TIIC. About 15 E4 students and 25 E3 students are take up product development. Another Incubation centre by Haritha Technologies with focus on Development and Consulting (JAVA and .NET) will be starting to function from July 2017.
