3. ANDREA HIRATA Born in Gantong ,Beltong ,East Sumatra,Indonesia . Andrea Hirata is an Indonesian writer. He was a participant in the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa in 2010. His first novel, The Rainbow Troops (Laskar Pelangi), sold more than five million copies in Indonesia, making him the country's bestselling writer of all time, as well as its first to enjoy truly international success: The Rainbow Troops has been published or is forthcoming in twenty- three countries and counting. Hirata has written three sequels to The Rainbow Troops: Sang Pemimpi (The Dreamer), Edensor, and Maryama Karpov. He lives in Indonesia.

8. EXPOSITION/INTRODUCTION The story began with the opening of enrolment in Muhammadiyah primary school in the Gantong village, Gantong, District, East Belitong South Sumatris. An area rich in natural resources, namely tin. Beitong is an area which became the largest tin mining and generate a lot of profit. Even though so, if there as colonized between the rich and the poor that morning, one after the other prospective students accompanied by parents arrive enroll in school nearly collapsed and probably is not feasible to be used as a teaching and learning. When in that morning on the acceptance day of new students there is a distressed event that a nation child was struggled for education in an unsuitable school that almost collapsed down in anytime. Fabulously, Belitong is rich island in natural resources. But, they were colonized in a land by themselves

9. There is a lot of popping problems or conflicts. However, the initial conflict first arise is when things started to tense because there are insufficient applicants minimum limit required by the Department of Education student there. If the prospective students who register less than ten children, then the Muhammadiyah elementary school must be closed. Their teacher were worried about being shut down, while the parents were worried about expenses, and then the nine small children caught in the middle were worried they may not get to go to school at all. RISING ACTION

10. CLIMAX At the time of the most genius Lintang disciple of yet others leave school because he had to take care of his brothers after the death of his father .It was there at the end of the story, the struggle of the tenth, The Rainbow Troops it meant, he should be stopped from his school. He had to take care of his brothers. His dream was disappeared. Of course, all his friends is very sad because Lintang is their hero who always burned their spirit for their education.

11. FALLING ACTION When Lintang came to the school to bid farewell to his friends. They hugged as a symbol of saying goodbye. Lintang hugged very light and didn't want to let go, It was so emotional and painful, they would be separated. Lintang should be continued his life. Finally, they realized and that they should be loosed. Saying goodbye to a guiding star for sailors lost at sea .

12. RESOLUTION That is when the wall of PN Timah able destroyed and poverty can be combated by the people of Belitong. And the happiness that ultimately can be achieved by the len child of Laskar Pelangi or The Rainbow Troops. Finally, the PN Tanah were destroyed and that island can be dominated by the Beltong people. They even opened new schools and more children like Lintang were saved in Belitung Island, not a giant corporation, not the government, but the poor people themselves succeeded in restoring education as a basic human right for every citizen .
