Besides, the ELT curriculum, Syllabus design, materials, evaluation, adaptation, testing and evaluation, approaches and methods in language teaching are also my preferable areas for teaching my learners.

Topic: Principles of Materials Development for English Language Teaching and Learning.
What are Materials? Materials are anything that facilitates the teaching and learning of language.
Examples of materials: Textbooks, workbooks, handouts, worksheets, audio-visual aids, multimedia resources, internet facilities, newspaper, magazine, picture, photograph, YouTube, email and so on.
Materials in different methods and approaches: GTM- Textbook, Rules of grammar, vocabulary. Direct method- Language in practical life rather than literature, real life objects, visual aids, pronunciation . TPR- R ealia , poster and props. CLT- Role play, game, warm-up activities, puzzle-solving activities
What does materials development refer to? Materials development is the process of producing, evaluating, adapting, and using materials to help learners learning a language .

Materials in English teaching and learning : Audio-visual aids, textbooks, workbooks, handouts, multimedia resources, language games, poster, video, story telling, puzzles, language lab, newspaper, warm-up activities and so on.
Characteristics of materials Materials should be clear and systematic. Materials should be attractive and appealing. Materials should be contextualize. Materials should be on the basis of learners’ needs and interests. Materials should help learners to develop confidence Materials should provide authenticity.
