Duties & Responsibilities (Description of Work):

2. Troubleshoots the more complex chiller or control problems, determines parts
needed and work procedures.
Considerable knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and equipment
used in the maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration
equipment.
Working knowledge of refrigeration theory.
Ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions and prescribes repair procedures.
Ability to analyze building heating and air conditioning equipment and
recommend modifications to achieve better operation or energy savings.
Reviewing the heating or cooling requirements of existing buildings, compare
these requirements to existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems,
and recommend modifications to achieve better system effectiveness and
efficiency.
Perform work independently usually under the general supervision of an air
conditioning supervisor and is reviewed through the proper operation of
equipment and the effectiveness of repairs.
Provides advice to other mechanics on troubleshooting about repair procedures.
Serves as Innovating Technician in the more complex repair work or in operation
environment.
Extensively involved in the following activities, such as Installation, Operation,
Commissioning trouble shooting, Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) break
down calls, braizing, compressor overhauling, thermostatic expansion valves
replacement, electronic boards check out, flotronic expansion valves check out
and replacement.
Completely familiarized with Electronics chiller of the said make…..Carrier &
York, Also fully acquainted with various model of Central Air- Conditioning
liquid chilling system consisting of 240TR…..
Having worked with AHU, FCU, Chilled Water Pump, Cold room, Mortuary
Units, which are primarily controlled by Building Management System (BMS).
Good knowledge and experience on Package AC Unit, DX Unit, Split AC Unit &
Window AC Etc……
Having special exposure in Regional Referral hospital (IBRI) in Sultanate of
