Objectives of the Action Summit: To bring SBM government functionaries and members of marginalized groups together on a shared platform To develop an understanding of each other’s aspirations, experiences and challenges to move forward in partnership To inspire and move young people to take action and join the Swachh Bharat Movement. To inform and inspire the media on the achievements and challenges of SBM so far.
Action Summit – Overview of Schedule 17 November (11.00 – 1.00 PM) – Preparatory meeting with all facilitators and coordinating partners 17 November (2.00 – 5.30 PM) – Registration and Pre Summit Briefing for all participants (in groups) 18 November (10 AM – 12.00 PM) – Interaction between representatives of marginalized groups with media and government officials followed by lunch (this is not mandatory for all participants) 18 November (3.00 – 9.00 PM) - Action Summit followed by dinner 19 November - Debriefing with participants (to be scheduled by coordinating partners)
