AD_Connector

AD Connector is a directory gateway with which you can redirect directory requests to your on-premises Microsoft Active Directory without caching any information in the cloud. AD Connector comes in two sizes, small and large. You can spread application loads across multiple AD Connectors to scale to your performance needs.

4. What is AD Server
●Active Directory (AD) is Microsoft's proprietary directory service. It runs on Windows Server and enables
administrators to manage permissions and access to network resources.
●Active Directory is a database which stores the information about objects like USERS, GROUPS, PRINTER,
MEMBER SERVERs etc.

●Prerequisite

➔ A Windows server:-
Here in my example I am using windows server 2016 running on EC2 t2.micro, but you may use any windows server to configure Active Directory.

●A server running the Active Directory Domain Service (AD DS) role is called a domain controller. It authenticates and authorizes all users and computers in a Windows domain type network, assigning and enforcing security policies for all computers, and installing or updating software
