ISHRAE Chapter established on 25 th Aug 2023 2 Department should explore the ways to open PG in Energy & Environment Approval is in process 3 In-plant training should be given to the students from 1 st Year 6 Months internship plan ned as per new scheme 4 Try to avail SEED funding from the Institute for motivating the Research work In Process 5 Departmental faculty members should apply for the funding to the different agency for getting Research fund more than the 5 Lakh. Research proposals are under review

DEPARTMENT GOALS AND PLANS SHORT TERM GOALS ( 1-3 YEARS) LONG TERM GOALS ( > 3 YEARS) All students at third year level should achieve 60% (6.5 CGPA) aggregate to be eligible for placement To sustain results as per TCET Quality objective for SE,TE,BE. To achieve 100% internship for students. To educate students on the value of practical training with reference to the Industrial requirements . To achieve a high standard of Mechanical Engineering Education through Quality Teaching and research . To strengthen Institute- Industry Interaction through seminar, outhouse projects and consultancy works At least 30% of students in third year level to appear for GATE/ GRE , TOEFL and Professional Certifications through HOC Cell. Conduct Organized research work in view of at least one Patent/ IPR development per year. Start student exchange, collaborative research program with Foreign Universities of repute. To foster professional growth by working collaboratively with other disciplines, institutes, industry and research & development sectors for enhancing the expertise of the faculty and students.

ESTABLISHMENT OF ISHRAE TCET STUDENT CHAPTER Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) ISHRAE TCET inaugurated on – 25/08/2023 Faculty adviser / guide – Mr. Udhhav Nimbalkar Total number of students – 21 Competition participated: Student research project grant National student design competition(NSDC)
Mr. Avinash Gupta along with his team started to work while pursuing engineering and also represented TCET at Hackathon Hardware-2018. The team stood first in its category and has also bagged several awards at the National level and international level.
