Confucius He was a Chinese teacher, editor, politician, and philosopher. Famous line:  " What you do not wish for yourself, do not do to others." ( Lunyu  12.2, 6.30).

Mahatma Gandhi He was an advocate for the rights of Indians, both at home and in South Africa. He became a leader of India’s independence movement, organizing boycotts against British institutions in peaceful forms of civil disobedience. He was killed by a fanatic in 1948.
