Definition - One which spreads, covers, expands its extents. Which is always directed upwards. One which is illuminating and having flame in upward direction. Which is always worshipped very firstly.
Definition - A vast empty space where the thing can be kept a lot. In our body, thoracic and abdominal cavities are present which has a lot of space and various organs are arranged there properly. Types of Kostha 3 – क्रूर कोष्ठ – Due to odominance of Vata Dosha मृदु कोष्ठ – Due to dominance of Pitta Dosha मध्यम कोष्ठ - Due to dominance of Kapha Dosha
क्रूर कोष्ठ Due to dominance of Vata Dosha,person produces very hard faeces. Elemination of faeces becomes very difficult. Difficult to digest the things Their intestine is dry hence requires oil treatment for minimum 7 days.
मृदु कोष्ठ Occurs due to dominance of Pitta Dosha Causes watery or semisolid faeces Faeces passes from body twice or more times from the body in a day
मध्यम कोष्ठ Occurs due to dominance of Kapha Dosha Soft,semi -solid faeces , passes smoothly from the body once a day regularly
Sara 👛
Definition The most purified form of Dhatu is known as “Sara”. Ayurvedic concept of Dhatu sarata describes the strength of person. Person having good sara have good bala . A physician must have to know about the bala (strength) vof his/her patient to specify the trestment and medicines with their ability to handle that.
Importance Strength can not be determined just by looking outer framework o f the body. To understand the strength of each dhatu, sara pariksha is important concept to understood. Healthy person = Sama dhatu concept Means all the dhatu’s should be in equilibrium stage. Sama dhatu = Healthy individual Vishama Dhatu = Unhealthy condition Vishama Dhatu + Vitiated Dosha’s = Aggravated condition of disease
Types - 9 Rasa sara Rakta sara Mansa sara Medo sara Asthi sara Majja sara Shukra sara Sarva sara Satwa sara Each Tissue further comprises three types of sara according to their condition – Uttam sara Madhyam sara Heena sara Example – Uttam Rasa Sara Madhyam Heena
Practical importance of sara If in a patient, Heena or Madhyama sara is found, then Vaidya advices Tonic or Rasayana therapy to them. This will helps to increase their immunity. Leads to causes less chance of illness.
