3. What are the causes of air pollution? As follows: Household combustion devices, motor vehicles, industrial facilities and forest fires  are common sources of air pollution. Air pollution is caused by solid and liquid particles and certain gases that are suspended in the air. The biggest contributors of air pollution are from industry sources and power plants to generate power, as well as fossil fuel motor vehicles.  The main cause of air pollution is the  burning of fossil fuels . Harmful gases like sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide etc.  Volcanoes, dust storms, and forest fires are causes of natural air pollution.

5. What are the effect of Air Pollution? As follows: Ambient (outdoor) air pollution in both cities and rural areas is causing fine particulate matter which result in  strokes, heart diseases, lung cancer, acute and chronic respiratory diseases . People are more likely to die from respiratory disease and lung cancer in heavily polluted areas. It is harmful to our health, and it impacts the environment by reducing visibility and blocking sunlight, causing acid rain, and harming forests, wildlife, and agriculture.  allergies, infections, skin irritations – just like humans, animals are likely to suffer from all kinds of allergies and skin issues caused by smog. Air pollution injury to plants can be evident in several ways. There may be a reduction in growth of various portions of a plant.

7. What are measures of Air Pollution? As follows: The greater the density of pollutants in the air, the higher the  Air Quality Index (AQI) , a scale that runs from zero to 500. An AQI of 50 or below is considered safe, while readings above 100 are deemed unhealthy.   Sensors offered by Airly measure air pollution with the use of the laser and electrochemical method . Pollutants are measured in one of two ways:  either through continuous (real-time) or noncontinuous (discrete) monitoring . Each different component of air pollution has to be measured by a different process, piece of equipment, or chemical reaction. 

8. What tools used to measures Air Pollution? Particulate Monitors Also known as nephelometers, these instruments are used to monitor particulate matter such as dusts, smokes, mists, and fumes. They can be used for monitoring the respirable fraction of dust, and are small enough to use for personal exposure monitoring.
