**Introduction**

Urban sustainability has become a crucial aspect of modern living, addressing the challenges posed by rapid urbanization, environmental degradation, and climate change. To promote innovative solutions and engage communities in sustainability efforts, the Urban Sustainability Innovation Contest has been launched. This contest aims to harness the creativity and ingenuity of individuals, teams, and organizations to develop practical and impactful sustainability projects that can be implemented in urban areas.

**Objectives**

1. **Encourage Innovation**: Foster innovative ideas and solutions that address urban sustainability challenges.
2. **Promote Collaboration**: Engage diverse stakeholders, including students, professionals, businesses, and community groups, in collaborative efforts.
3. **Raise Awareness**: Increase public awareness and understanding of sustainability issues and solutions.
4. **Implement Scalable Solutions**: Identify and support projects that have the potential to be scaled and replicated in other urban areas.

**Contest Structure**

The contest will be divided into several categories to ensure a wide range of sustainability issues are addressed:

- **Renewable Energy**: Projects focusing on the integration of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and bioenergy into urban systems.
- **Waste Management**: Innovations in waste reduction, segregation, recycling, and composting.
