Advantages 1.Convenience In this busy and hectic schedule it is difficult for an individual to make time to visit bank for checking their account balance, interest rates, successful transfer of money, and any other update. Banking system has developed virtual banking system for customer convenience where an individual can access their banking system anytime and anyplace 2.Transfer service The virtual banking system provides convenience to transfer money 24 hours in 365 days. You don’t need to stick to perform any transaction within working hours as you can do as per your convenience in 24 hours. 3.Monitoring service The customers can access their updated passbook anytime for monitor their transactions to manage their financial plans. 4.Online bills payment You don’t need to stand in queue for paying bills as it has feature to pay any kind of bill including electricity, water supply, telephone, and other bills .

The financial information can also be stolen that can also create financial loss. 2.Lack of direct contact between customer and banking officer There are some online payments which may not be reflected in the system due to technical issues. It also creates insecurity among the customers. Thus the lack of support from customer service executive is a barrier in online banking. 3.Transaction problem During online banking there are various issues faced by the user such as transferred payment is not reflected, payment failed, and other issues due to technical support. 4.Long procedure to access e-banking In some countries, government banks are providing internet banking by filling the internet banking form then after approval you can access security password to log in 5.Training and development The banks need to conduct training and development program for employees for providing quality online services which enhance the customer experience. It requires huge investment to train them for providing effective services.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic, currently as a platform inside the Google Marketing Platform brand. Google analytics is used to  track  website activity such as  session  duration, pages per session,  bounce rate  etc. of individuals using the site, along with the information on the source of the traffic.

Google Analytics analysis can identify poorly performing pages with techniques such as funnel visualization, where visitors came from ( referrers ), how long they stayed on the website and their geographical position. It also provides more advanced features, including custom visitor segmentation. Google Analytics  e-commerce  reporting can track sales activity and performance. The e-commerce reports shows a site's transactions, revenue, and many other commerce-related metrics .

Digital India is a campaign launched by the Government of India in order to ensure the Government's services are made available to citizens electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity or making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology.

The main aim of digital India is to bridge the connectivity gap between the rural and urban areas. The program was launched by the central government in J uly 2015.

E-Aadhaar

E-AADHAAR e-Aadhaar is a password protected electronic copy of Aadhaar, which is digitally signed by the competent Authority of UIDAI. What is Aadhaar Aadhaar is a verifiable 12-digit identification number issued by UIDAI to the resident of India for free of cost Aadhaar Ecosystem Aadhaar ecosystem comprises of core infrastructures with the objective of providing enrolment, update & authentication services.

Benefits Of e-Aadhaar Card E Aadhar card is an electronic card and is available online E Aadhar card is a universal identity card can be procured by all residents of India.. The Government of India has provided a number of subsidies such as LPG subsidy, and so on to all Individuals. Individuals can also open bank accounts by using their Aadhar card. An e- Aadhar card is a valid proof of address and identity as mentioned by the  Unique Identification Authority of India  since this document has been digitally certified.

It is a payment service that empower a bank customer to use Aadhaar as his/her identity to access his/ her respective Aadhaar enabled bank account and perform basic banking transactions like cash deposit, cash withdrawal, Intra bank or interbank fund transfer, balance enquiry and obtain a mini statement through a Business Correspondent.

AgriMarket  mobile  app  can be used to get the market price of crops in the markets within 50 km of the device's location. This  app  automatically captures the location of person using mobile GPS and fetches the market price of crops in those markets which falls within the range of 50 km.

BHIM is a Indian mobile payment App developed by the National Payments Corporation of India, based on the Unified Payments Interface . BHIM  (Bharat Interface for Money) is a UPI enabled initiative to facilitate safe, easy & instant digital payments through your mobile phone. 

Under this initiative, a high speed digital highway will connect all 250,000 gram panchayath’s of the country. This is the worlds largest rural broad band using optical fibre.

CROP INSURANCE MOBILE APP

The "  Cyber  Swachhta  Kendra  " (Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Centre) is a part of the Government of India's Digital India initiative under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology ( MeitY ) to create a secure cyber space by detecting botnet infections in India and to notify, enable cleaning and securing systems of end users so as to prevent further infections.

The initiative plans to enable CITIZENS and MERCHANTS to undertake real time digital transactions through the  DIGIDHAN  Bazaar.

DigiLocker  is an online service provided by Ministry of Electronics and IT ( MeitY ),  Government of India  under its  Digital India  initiative. DigiLocker provides an account in cloud to every Aadhaar holder to access authentic documents/certificates such as driving license, vehicle registration, academic mark sheet in digital format from the original issuers of these certificates. It also provides 1GB storage space to each account to upload scanned copies of legacy documents.

eSign eSign service is an online electronic signature service that can facilitate an Aadhaar holder to digitally sign a document.  NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited (NSDL e- Gov ) ,a licensed Certifying Authority (CA), is empanelled by Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) to provide eSign Services to Application Service Providers (ASPs )

-DIGITAL SAKSHARTA ABHIYAAN It is formulated to impart IT training to 52.5 lakh persons, including Anganvadi , ASHA workers and authorised ration dealers in all states/UTs across the country.

Digitize India Platform (DIP) is an initiative of the Government of India under the Digital India Programme to provide digitization services for scanned document images or physical documents for any organization . T his involves digitization of data and records on a large scale in the country to make easy and quick access to them possible.

Direct Benefit Transfer  or  DBT  is an attempt to change the mechanism of transferring subsidies launched by  Government of India  on 1 January 2013. This program aims to transfer subsidies directly to the people through their bank accounts. It is hoped that crediting subsidies into bank accounts will reduce leakages, delays, etc

E-District project intend to provide Government services to citizens through Common Service Centers (CSC) which are easily accessible. Services from different departments are brought under one umbrella at any CSC.

National Agriculture Market or eNAM is an online trading platform for agricultural commodities in India. The market facilitate farmers, traders and buyers with online trading in commodities. The market is helping in better price discovery and provide facilities for smooth marketing of their products.

National Agriculture Market ( eNAM ) is a pan-India electronic trading portal which networks the existing APMC mandis to create a unified national market for agricultural commodities .

E-office is introduced to achieve a simplified, responsive, effective, and transparent working of all government offices. It is a part of the national e-governance project to improve efficiency in government process and service delivery mechanisms.

ePathshala  is a portal/app developed by the  CIET , NCERT  . It was initiated jointly by the  Ministry of Human Resource Development  and  CIET ,  NCERT  and launched in November 2015.  ePathshala  hosts educational resources for teachers, students, parents, researchers and educators.  ePathshala  can be accessed on  Web  and is available on  Google Play ,  App Store  and  Windows   . The content is available in  English ,  Hindi  and  Urdu .

Electronic Transaction Aggregation & Analysis Layer  ( eTaal ) is a public service developed by India's  National Informatics Centre  to measure the impact of various  e-governance  initiatives at national and state levels. This webportal disseminates   eTaal is a platform for dissemination of e-Transaction statistics of National and State level e-Governance Projects including Mission Mode Projects. It automatically pulls the e-Transaction data from applications integrated with it using Web Service technology and facilitates quick analysis of transaction data for the user

PayGOV Is an online platform and a common infrastructure that can be used by Center /States/Departments to offer various services through their national / state portals with a facility to make online payment using net banking, credit cards and debit cards. PayGov India offers a range of payment options through which a payment can be made by the citizen to avail a service.

Mobile seva (apps.mgov.gov.in ) is a government mobile applications store. It is introduced to develop and deploy mobile applications for delivery of public services to citizens through mobile devices.

Mobile Seva  is an UN award-winning  e-governance  initiative by  government of India . This programme was launched in 2011, by  Department of Electronics and Information Technology ,  Government of India . This programme includes a Mobile Applications Store that by December, 2013, contained 240 applications available free. The programme takes benefit of ubiquitous mobile phone use all over India, to enable interaction between the Indian government and its citizens.
