1. R.R. Redkar Architects is an architectural design firm based in the suburban area of Mumbai. Firm is in senpati bapat marg, lower parel. First, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Principal architect, AR. Ajit Redkar, for providing me with this opportunity to work as an intern in the firm. Their continuous guidance and support have helped me draw a better line than yesterday. Ideas were exchanged, and the experience of the firm has provided me with the confidence to work in professional fields. During the period of practicum, the major opportunity was to work on big and small projects in a systematic manner. This has helped me develop as a potential architect and as a student. 2. NATURE OF PROJECT The firm basically focuse residential and commercial project. all projects are small to large-scale residential project. WORKING AS INTERN Working as an intern in R.R. redkar firm was a positive and good experience. i was less aware of commercial areas. but when sir explained about it how much it deals with spaces of areas, services, part and also parking statement. I got the opportunity to work on the entire project as small to large scale. then the entire design part. I worked on built up dig, calculations parts and most of the BMC work. apart from various approval drawings and 2-3 site visit. Senior architects, me and employs discuss various topics, design ideas, local marketing terms, and material knowledge. AR.ajit sir also shared his practical knowledge with me during constant discussion.

3. SITE VISIT Being on site that we experience factors at work and get an accurate understanding of the space. site visit helped to gain more knowledge in understanding that what we have learned from what we’ve studied and also understand new things that we haven’t studied before. which we can see in real life at the construction site so that it can increase our knowledge on the basic construction process by observing the workers and other information that are carried on site. Discussing the problem and solution with professionals such as engineer, contractor, and electricians etc., will not only gain knowledge of other disciplines that will be helpful to our work, but more importantly see their expertise being applied in real life on the job site.
