circles, commercial spaces for endow-
ment, and energy-efficient solutions,
all while maintaining harmony with
the local architectural style. Organized
by the Mosque Architecture Section of
the Saudi Association for Urban Sci-
ences in collaboration with the Hassan
Abbas Sharbathli Foundation and the
Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah and
Guidance, the mosque is located in the
Al-Bahr Al-Ahmar district of north
Jeddah, with essential facilities such as
the prayer hall, minaret, outdoor plaza,
restrooms, and caretaker rooms, all
designed with a focus on sustainability
and religious guidelines.

Building Systems Studio
This studio explores the integration of
architectural design with structural,
mechanical, and environmental sys-
tems. The aim is to create responsive
and efficient buildings that address
both functional and contextual needs
through system-driven thinking.

Project: Huawei Headquarters – Ri-
yadh, Saudi Arabia
This project proposes the design of
a new headquarters for Huawei on a
15,000 m² site in Riyadh. The design
includes a low-rise podium and a high-
rise office tower, developed with a focus
on environmental performance and
system integration. The project explores
the relationship between architecture
and corporate identity, aligning the
design with Huawei’s values of simplic-
ity, sustainability, and harmony with
nature.

ARCHITECTURAL PORTFOLIO HUAWEI HEADQUARTERS
The design of the Huawei Headquarters was inspired
by the company’s core values: sustainability, simplic-
ity, and connection to nature. These principles were
translated architecturally through clean forms, inte-
grated green spaces, and efficient building systems.

The project consists of a podium that houses shared
facilities and public functions, and an office tower de-
signed to reflect Huawei’s forward-thinking identity.
The building form, materials, and layout aim to create
a productive, healthy, and flexible work environment,
while also responding to the climate conditions of Ri-
yadh. The design seeks to embody Huawei’s vision of
a balanced relationship between technology, people,
and the environment.

HVAC
IN BIM-BASED DESIGN PROJECTS, SEVERAL CORE SYSTEMS
WORK TOGETHER TO FORM A COMPLETE AND FUNCTIONAL
BUILDING. THESE INCLUDE THE ARCHITECTURAL SYSTEM,
WHICH FOCUSES ON SPATIAL PLANNING, AESTHETICS, AND
THE OVERALL LAYOUT OF THE PROJECT. THE STRUCTURAL
SYSTEM HANDLES THE LOAD-BEARING ELEMENTS SUCH
AS COLUMNS, BEAMS, AND FOUNDATIONS TO ENSURE THE
BUILDING’S STABILITY. THE MECHANICAL SYSTEM COVERS
HVAC, PLUMBING, AND FIRE PROTECTION, WHILE THE ELEC-
TRICAL SYSTEM INCLUDES LIGHTING, POWER DISTRIBUTION,
COMMUNICATIONS, AND ALARM SYSTEMS. EACH SYSTEM IS
DEVELOPED BY SPECIALIZED TEAMS USING BIM TOOLS TO
ENSURE ACCURACY AND COORDINATION.
BUILDING SYSTEMS OVERVIEW
TO EFFECTIVELY MANAGE AND INTEGRATE THESE
SYSTEMS, THEY ARE COMBINED INTO A SINGLE,
UNIFIED MODEL WITHIN A COLLABORATIVE ENVI-
RONMENT KNOWN AS THE INTEGRATED SYSTEM.
THIS INTEGRATION ALLOWS FOR EARLY DETEC-
TION OF CLASHES—SUCH AS PIPES INTERSECTING
WITH STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS—WHICH CAN BE
RESOLVED BEFORE CONSTRUCTION BEGINS. THE
INTEGRATED SYSTEM SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVES
PROJECT QUALITY, REDUCES TIME AND COST, AND
ENSURES SMOOTH EXECUTION ON SITE. THE IMAG-
ES INCLUDED IN THIS PORTFOLIO SHOWCASE REAL
EXAMPLES OF MODELS I HAVE WORKED ON, HIGH-
LIGHTING THE COORDINATION AND INTEGRATION
OF DIFFERENT SYSTEMS WITHIN AN ADVANCED BIM
ENVIRONMENT.

by the shape of the circle, symbolizing
infinity, reflecting the endless pursuit
of knowledge and the philosophy of
continuous learning and sustainable
development.

ARCHITECTURAL PORTFOLIO SCHOOL COMPLEX
The architectural design of the school complex is
based on the concept of the circle representing infini-
ty, symbolizing knowledge and learning without end.
Educational spaces are organized around this concept
to promote continuous learning and skill develop-
ment in a stimulating and safe environment.

The complex includes kindergarten, elementary, and
middle school stages, with a focus on balancing edu-
cational and environmental needs. The design aims to
create a flexible learning environment that supports
