WHAT IS CREATIVITY? The ability to bring forth something new that has value the act of a person through imaginary, makes something new such as a product, a solution or a work of art that has some kind of value this artist does not simply copy or imitate another artist's work. he/she does not imitate the lines, flaws, colors and patterns in recreating nature. it means that creativity stands for originality

UNTRAINED ARTISTS Outsider artists or folk artists – people with no formal art education – folk artists work within a tradition – outsider artists rarely know about the trends and history of art They work outside of traditional art guidelines In many cases, their work is discovered only after their deaths. Often, outsider art illustrates extreme mental states, unconventional ideas, or elaborate fantasy worlds. A trained artist, on the other hand, will have been taught in specific programs, taught skills about design, composition, history, aesthetics and advanced skills in drawing and painting. The term, Outsider Art, was introduced in 1972 (eight years after Art Brut) by the English academic, Roger Cardinal, and like Dubuffet he intended to shine a light on art made by artists usually untrained, living quietly, and possibly somehow sheltered.

Written work – ½ cw In not less than 50 words: How do you think arts and the subject Art Appreciation can help you as future police officers? Think of a project/program where you can use Art in the future as part of your career.
