Article writing is the process of creating a non-fiction text for publication in mediums like websites, magazines, newspapers, or journals.

3. Article Writing Format The format of an article consists of the following three points:  Headline ,  By-line , and  Body . A. Headline – about which topic or subject of the article is written. The heading should be interesting or catchy and in not more than 5 – 6 words. The heading must be in accordance with the article. The article must describe the main idea of the article.

4. Article Writing Format B. By-line – who has written the article. C. Body – all the paragraphs regarding the article are written in the body.

The Format of a One-sided Article Paragraph 1:  Introduction (including your opinion) Paragraph 2:  First point supporting your opinion with an explanation Paragraph 3:  Second point supporting your opinion with an explanation Paragraph 4:  State a counterargument (an idea from the opposing viewpoint) and counter the counterargument (i.e., explain why this counterargument is invalid). In other words, state a point made by people who have a different opinion from yours and explain why they are wrong. Paragraph 5:  Conclusion (including your opinion again but in different words)
