CONCEPT ASIAN GAMES VILLAGE - RAJ REWAL Influence from Jaipur and Jaisalmer urban pattern. It resembles traditional village and has similarities with Jaisalmer city. -The narrow shaded streets-streets linking a variety of clusters -The streets are broken up into small units, making breathing spaces. Courtyard providing public space within the building. Grid pattern streets with square cluster planning and vehicular access on either side of site. low rise high density with sequence of open spaces linked by shaded pedestrian pathways. The sense, both of enclosure and of continuity are maintained. The pedestrian movement areas are interlinked from one end to the other. Based on a sequence of open spaces, interlinked with narrow pedestrian streets shaded maintaining both recreational and communal area.

Each cluster has its own integrity, being drifted by large darwazas or doorways, featuring of old city quarters in northern India.
