HISTORY… The company was started in the year 1942 under the name “ASIAN OIL & PAINTS COMPANY”. Within 3 years , their turnover reached 3.5 lacs. In 1967, Asian paints became 10 th largest paint company in the world. In 1973 , Asian paints became a Public company and listed in BSE with a code 500820 and NSE with a code ASIANPAINT.
