Assessment in Linguistic Contexts Involves evaluating individuals’ language skills. Linguistic Assessment evaluates the following: 1. Language Proficiency- assessing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills 2. Contextual Language Use- how language is used in different situations 3. Pragmatics- understanding how context influences language use
