Assignment 1
My name is Mohamed Shousha born in Alexandria and currently living and working in Red Sea
Hurghada, 48 years old with a career path of Quality control in the hotels and tourism industry.
I have been a quality manager for the past 15+ years. Quality to me is the essence of every
successful business today.
I choose the Western School as I find that it allows an excellent opportunity for creativity and
improvisation. While the character of a doctor is strict on medical aspects and new medical
trends, on he other hand the Non medical is only focused on the managerial and administrative
aspects of the business. Having the Medical doctors overload their thoughts on administrative
and operation aspects of the business can be an ineffective while the non medical professional is
focused entirely with his mind and full focus to produce a successful system allowing for the
medical professionals to do their jobs effectively.
Per references we see that Hospital management primarily focuses on overall strategic direction
and efficiency, while hospital administration delves into day-to-day operations and coordination
and administration is systematic protocols an procedures to accomplish specific goals and
target set by the Hospital Management.

Assignment 3
What are the 7 main functions of management?
•Planning.
One main role of a manager is creating a plan to meet company goals and objectives. This involves allocating employee resources and delegating responsibilities, as well as setting
realistic timelines and standards for completion. Planning requires those in management roles to continuously check on team progress in order to make small adjustments when
necessary, while still maintaining a clear picture of a company's larger aims and goals.
•Organizing
Along with planning, a manager's organizational skills can help to ensure a company or departmental unit runs smoothly. From establishing internal processes and structures to
knowing which employees or teams are best suited for specific tasks, keeping everyone and everything organized throughout daily operations are important functions of management
•Leading
Managers should be comfortable and confident commanding their team members’ daily tasks as well as during periods of significant change or challenge.
This involves projecting a strong sense of direction and leadership when setting goals and communicating new processes, products and services, or internal
policy.
•Coordinating
To ensure all of the above functions are working toward the success of a company, managers should consistently monitor employee performance, quality of work, and the efficiency
and reliability of completed projects. Control (and quality control) in management is about making sure the ultimate goals of the business are being adequately met, as well as making
any necessary changes when they aren't.
