Art is Universal Timeless, spanning generations and continents through and through. Misconception: Artistic made long time ago. Age is not a factor in determining art. “ Art is not good because it is old, but old because it is beautiful .” (Dudley, et al. 1960)

Art is Universal Arts regardless of origin, time, and place are liked and enjoyed by people continuously.

Art is Cultural Art has been a part of human culture for many centuries. It has served as a means of expressing feelings, exchanging ideas, and transferring knowledge from one generation to the next. We process our emotions and ideas through art, thus it plays a significant role in our cultural and social lives.

Art is not Nature Man’s expression of his reception of nature. Art is man’s way of interpreting nature. Art is made by man, whereas nature is given around us.

Art Involves Experience Unlike fields of knowledge that involve data, art is known by experiencing. A work of art that cannot be abstracted from actual doing. In order to know what an artwork is, we have to sense it, see, and hear it.

Art Involves Experience “All art depends on experience, and if one is to know art, he must know it not as fact or information but as experience”

Art is an expression of our thoughts, emotions, intuitions, and desires, but it is even more personal than that: it’s about sharing the way we experience the world, which for many is an extension of personality. It is the communication of intimate concepts that cannot be faithfully portrayed by words alone. Art as Expression

Art is a diverse range of human activity, and resulting product, that involves creative or imaginative talent expressive of technical proficiency, beauty, emotional power, or conceptual ideas. Art as a Form of Creation
