Authentic Assessment at the University of Chester The University of Chester’s Citizen Student Strategy sets out our ambition to deliver a premium, personalised and purposeful student experience Student Education Plan provides a roadmap to deliver the strategy through series of initiative and policies Three fundamental and guiding principles that underpin the Student Education Plan: research and practice-informed teaching, social and immersive learning and authentic assessment Academic Framework (from 2025) - a new curriculum structure and academic delivery model Sprint process for course design– design assessments that are competence-based as we move towards our Future Skills Curriculum for 2025 .

Key challenges – full spectrum of good practice not captured, small project team
