3. AUTOLYSIS
•Is the enzymatic digestion of
cells by the action of its own
enzymes ( lysosomal enzymes ),
and it mostly occurs in dying in
dying or dead cells.

•After death all cells goes under
autolysis.
•Due to presence of ulcer.
•Due to presence of fibrosis.
•In sites of cut surface.
•Due to ischemic changes.
