INTRODUCTION This device take the work of operating your water pump, ensuring a reliable water supply.The float switch automatically triggers the pump to shut off when tank is full. By this preventing the overflow of water. No more rushing to turn off the pump.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
MAGNETIC CONTACTOR A magnetic contactor is an electrically controlled switch used for switching an electrical power circuit. It is commonly used in industrial and commercial applications to control large loads such as motors, lighting, heating equipment, and other heavy electrical loads
WATER LEVEL SWITCH A float switch is a device used to detect the level of liquid within a tank and control the operation of a water pump.
The float switch works by floating on the water surface. As the water level rises or falls, the float moves accordingly. This movement changes the position of the rod or lever arm, which in turn actuates the switch mechanism. When the water level drops below a predetermined point, the switch closes the circuit, signaling the pump to turn on and fill the tank. Conversely, when the water level reaches the desired height, the switch opens the circuit, signaling the pump to turn off.

Conclusion The purpose of this project was to identify strategies for dealing with controlling water pump. Based on the analysis , It can be concluded that Water pump can be automatically switched off by using float switch. This modification technique could be useful to save water from wasting. It is also cost effective. This strategy can be widely used for water saving purpose.
