Diagnosing Amblyopia Squinting Head tilting Closing one eye Difference of 2 lines or more in Snellen’s Chart Marked Crowding of letters in a row Rule out other physical pathologies for visual defect

Management Early screening of vision Occlusion Therapy After ruling out other pathologies, treating cataract if any, and correcting refractive errors Full time occlusion or part time occlusion 2. Penalization of better eye using atropine 3. Pleoptic exercises, Laser stimulation of fovea 4. Surgical correction of strabismus
