THESE ARE SOME OF THE THOUGHTS * Never give alms to young beggars, they are capable of working. By Giving them alms we are encouraging them to beg more. Instead encourage them to work and earn. * Old people who are forsaken by their wards should be moved to old age homes. * NGOs should come together and work on rehabilitation of such people by providing them some means of work. * Also there are beggars who ask in the name of religion, taking advantage of religious sentiments of Indian people. They should be strictly restrained. * The Government should start its own institutions, where widows, orphans, and other helpless people may find shelter. This will prevent them from joining the profession of begging. * Further, the Government should also pass laws, which should make begging By persons below a certain age a crime .
