Objektif sesi. Menjelaskan perihal : Peranan dan fungsi Gelagat Organisasi - Organizational Behavior (OB) Perbezaan OB dengan Budaya Organisasi - Organizational Culture(OC) Membezakan antara kecekapan dan keberkesanan mengurus Perbezaan individu dan persepsi kakitangan
Conc: Mengkaji tentang cara kakitangan berfikir, menjiwai dan bertingkah laku, sama ada secara individu atau berkumpulan dalam sesebuah organisasi. Matlamat OB : Memahami gelagat manusia di tempat kerja, di mana kita boleh membangunkan pekerja agar lebih produktif dan gembira. Melahirkan pemimpin yang berkesan – boleh bekerja dengan penuh bermakna Kajian tingkah laku ini- berfokus kepada beberapa hasil seperti sikap kerja (kepuasan dan komitmen organisasi) dan prestasi kerja.

Organizational Behavior vs. Organizational Culture Organizational culture refers to qualities of the workplace itself that influence its employees, Organizational behavior refers to the resulting behavior of the people within it. Organizational culture includes factors such as core values , the company’s mission statement and expectations of the employees . It defines the identity and how it wants to be perceived.

Effectiveness Efficiency Effectiveness is about accomplishing a task or producing a desired result Efficiency is about performing a task in a best possible manner Being effective means doing the right things Being efficient means doing things in right manner Effectiveness focuses on producing the result Efficiency focuses on completing task using minimum time, effort and resources It is not process and time oriented It is process and time oriented (process) Effectiveness has no/less economic sense Efficiency has higher economic sense It is result oriented (Target ) It is yield oriented (Hasil) It refers to the usefulness of a thing ( merujuk kepada kegunaan sesuatu perkara ) It refers to the way in which something is done (merujuk kepada cara sesuatu dilakukan) Bermakna apabila menghasilkan tahap kejayaan yang lebih baik dan tinggi Bermakna apabila terdapat sedikit sahaja pembaziran kewangan dan sumber tenaga yang tidak perlu.

Motivation: Can be described as the internal force that leads people to behave in particular ways which can increase the organizational performance. Commitment : The degree to which an employee considers herself a true member of the organization, and intends to stay or attach with the organization. ( Ahli sebenar dalam organisasi – fungsi penuh ) Organizational citizenship: The voluntary behavior of individuals that makes a positive overall contribution to the organization which encompasses all factors outside the strict requirements of the job description.

Woman with ponytail. If you saw the young woman first, it indicates you are more optimistic, full of positive energy, happy and a bit impulsive/intuitive. Slumbering old man. If you initially saw the old man in the picture, it indicates you are more experienced and tend to think critically and see things from all angles. Loyal and have strong leadership skill.

Did it seem that the cat was climbing the steps? You don’t pay attention to detail. You’re probably a disorganized or a naive person. You believe what you see, and this makes you love life and escapes you from worry. Did it look like the cat was descending the steps? You’re either a very attentive individual or you have great intuition. You pay a lot of attention to detail and carefully examine important questions without relying on luck to help you solve them .
CONCLUSION 1. All these images illustrate the point that there are multiple perspectives to take into account before reaching a conclusion 2. This is important to always keep in mind before drawing a hardline stance on anything. 3. Try to keep an open mind and see what else you might find by looking at everything from different angles.
