45. “Did you get any sleep
last night, Ted?”
“None at all, Fred!”

46. “My bed is too little!”

47. “My bed is too big!”

48. “What can we do about it, Ted?”
“I don’t know, Fred.”

49. “I know what to do!”
said the bird.
“Ted should sleep upstairs
and Fred should sleep
downstairs!”

50. “The bird’s got the word.”

51. “Back to bed!”
yelled Ted.
“Back to bed!”
yelled Fred.

52. “It’s downstairs for me!”
yelled Fred.
“It’s upstairs for me!”
yelled Ted.

53. Ted jumped into
the little bed upstairs.

the big bed downstairs.

Big dogs need big beds.
