ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
Adithya Institute of Technology (AIT), situated on

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Civil Engineering was
established in the year 2013 with the objective of
imparting high quality education to meet the
present day needs of the society. The Department is
equipped with the latest equipments in
laboratories, used extensively by students and
faculty for research and development. It is
accredited by NAAC and offers UG degree in Civil
Engineering for an intake of 60 students. It also
offers PG degree in Structural Engineering. The
Department is headed by Dr. R.Anuradha, who
has rich experience in Teaching, Research and
Consultancy.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The workshop stands as a critical platform to
address the paramount importance of fortifying
defense infrastructure against the ever-present
threat of blasts entitled on "Securing the Frontlines:
Blast Resistance in Defense Infrastructure". Over
two days, this national-level gathering will
convene experts, practitioners, and stakeholders to
delve into the intricacies of blast resistance,
exploring advanced techniques and strategies to
safeguard vital assets on the frontlines. With a
focus on enhancing resilience and readiness, the
workshop aims to foster collaborative efforts in the
development and implementation of robust blast-
resistant design principles, materials, and
retrofitting methodologies. Through insightful
discussions, case studies, and shared experiences,
participants will gain invaluable insights into
sustaining the structural integrity of defense
infrastructure, ensuring its persistent protection in
the face of evolving threats.
