What is Bloom's taxonomy ? Bloom taxonomy was created in 1956 under the leadership of Dr . Benjamin bloom in order to promote higher forms of thinking in education . Bloom's taxonomy is a set of three hierarchical models used to classify educational learning objectives into level of complexity and specificity.
Classification of three domain
Cognitive D omain Taxonomy related to cognitive domain , has been presented by Bloom and his associates in 1956. This domain includes those objectives which deals with thin k ing, reasoning ability and problem solving of students. This domain further divided in six categories .
Affective domain The affective domain includes those objectives which deals with attitude ,values , int e rest and appreciation . These o b jectives of affective domain is divided into five major classes of objectives.
Psychomotor domain This domain includes those objectives which deals with manual and motor skills . this domain also divided in five categories.
