A. Project content: Name of the School Head ABNER G. LOPEZ Region ,Division, District Region X, Division of Bukidnon, Kalilangan East District Name of School Kimagting Elementary School In this time of Pandemic one of the problems we would like to consider is the beginning reading of our Kindergarten learners specially in their phonemic awareness since face to face is not yet possible. We have 37 learners in Kindergarten.
Title of Project "BASAK" (Basa alang sa Kaalam ) a Reading Innovation of Kimagting Elementary School Project Description The "BASAK" or Basa alang sa Kaalam "is a Booklet material to be used by the parents in teaching their children on Phonemic Awareness or letter sounds at home. It adopts the explicit teaching practices wherein they will clearly show learners what to do and how to do it. . This is a very useful tool specially that we re in a new normal Education and face to face teaching is not yet possible due to COVID 19 pandemic.
Project Objective "BASAK" as an Innovation of Kimagting Elementary School is design to Improve the mastery level of Phonemic awareness of Kindergarten learners. Guide the parents in teaching phonemes to their children. Provide teachers and parents a tool to be used in teaching phonemic awareness.
