Pros and cons BOP PTW LOCAL OFFICE PROS Close to the BOP : RWTP & WWTP area Relatively faster for processing the PTW document of RWTP & WWTP area Coordination between operator and PTW for RWTP & WWTP will be easier and faster. CONS Requires preparation of additional equipment (time, cost and difficulty) Requires preparation of dedicated/renovation PTW location Release equipment by Authorized Leader required sign (impractical due to different location) Differences in BOP Operation vs BOP Maintenance work areas BOP mechanical maintenance work area including Intake, CW, FGD and outfall. Electrical and I&C also having different segregation of work area. Note : one CP may need to go to Main PTW Office and BOP PTW office Requires a dedicated BOP PTW Officer (additional Person) Coordination between CCR and LCR of common issue Difficulties of Controlling/Supervise correct implementation Of PTW Activity The PTW equipment such as key safe key cannot flexibly utilize for huge activity such as both plan trip and required outage as it will be in different location BOP PTW LOCAL OFFICE STUDY 2 Note : Possibility of FA also request the same PTW local office
