Brief Overviview of Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) in the Field of Civil Construction

Bried Overview of PPEs, for a project I had to do.

2. What is a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)? As the name implies , they’re equipment that are used for the personal protection of the people that are utilizing them .

3. Why are they used in Civil Construction ? For protection against many things ! Such as: Extreme Weather conditions ; Electrical hazards ; Falling Heavy and sharp objects ; Fire. Feet related injuries, like those from :

4. Why are they used in Civil Construction ? For protection against many things ! Such as: Damage to the eyes from : Sparks from electrical or mental work . Objects in general; Chemicals and other harmful liquids ;

5. Why are they used in Civil Construction ? For protection against many things ! Such as: Electrical devices; Toxic materials ; Punctures and abrasions ; Chafing . Harm to the hands stemming from :

6. We’ve some of the many types of PPEs used in Civil Construction . The Hard Hats ! However , there is still need to talk about one of the most recognizable pieces of equipment present in this field :

7. Aside from the obvious protection to the head , these helmets have another major defining quality . Their color coding :

8. Their color coding : Blue Helmets : For electricians , Carpenters and other technical operators . Red Helmets : For firefighters . Aside from the obvious protection to the head , these helmets have another major defining quality .

9. Their color coding : Brown Helmets : For welders and Workers with high heat applications . Yellow Helmets : For laborers and earth Moving operators . Aside from the obvious protection to the head , these helmets have another major defining quality .

10. Their color coding : Gray Helmets : For site visitors . White Helmets : For Engineers , supervisors , managers and foremen . Aside from the obvious protection to the head , these helmets have another major defining quality .
